Hello guys,

Am I the only one that receive's unwanted pm's from warrior forum members that I don't even know telling me to promote his wso for a commision or if I want to leave a review to his wso and he will let one on mine?

People! Warrior forum members are not your personal email list.

If I get a pm I expect it to be about my wso not from someone that I don't know that makes me an offer about something I did not expressed any interest in.

Regards, Marian

I haven't had a problem with this for a long time. Am I just not popular?

I think you can report these unwanted solicitations by the way. Not entirely sure. Let me check the rules real quick and update.

Just use the button in the top right-hand side of the email you receive. It looks like this:

That is against the TOS as I under stand it. I get such PM from time to time. I give them a violation if they are blatant marketing messages. If someone is asking me to do a review, I usually try to help if I have time.

Comments like this one are only going to increase the problem for you.

I have a blanket rule now: no reviews for no one.

I now only ever review something if I purchased it and believe it deserves one.

Did you read that y'all. I don't do reviews for no one!

I do reviews when I feel like it, and if you send me a review request there is roughly a 5% chance that I will ever feel like it. That may be as much as two months from now, though, so don't hold your breath.

I haven't received one PM from someone on this forum about anything like that. I would report it immediately. This is completely wrong to do and everyone here should know that.

It is no problem for me, if I have the time. I have received a lot of help from people on this forum, so when I can help others, I try to. I don't have much time just lately. So i anyone wants to send me something to review, I will probably decline. I have more stuff to do than I can get done. And reading reports for research is something I am way behind on.

Yeah! PMs aren't for YOU to get money from ME! They're for ME to get money from YOU! What is your problem, anyway?! It's like you're some sort of MARKETER or something.

I haven't gotten any email spam, which is surprising considering how massive and incredibly active this forum is. My guess is the mods are doing a great job and or have a great anti-spam system in place, either way it's working.

I received a LOT of people PMing me asking for my product for free and they would promote it their lists as soon as I launched a WSO.

I was also approached by several graphic designers asking if they could re do my sales page.
It can become a bit un wanted and I am not sure if it is relevant to the Warrior TOS

You are lucky. If you had ever been "crabbed", you would know WHO I was talking about...

It refers to a specific person who uses Skype as his personal spam machine.

I hope I start getting some (a lot) of those messages soon!... I can't think of a better and safer way to promote a product than to someone who promoted theirs to you out of the blue... It's not like they can complain over you sending them a counter offer :-)

"Hey Brutal, review my product and i'll review yours!"
"Sounds great! You review mine first though so that I know you are a real player - you can get it in this link, and your review copy will only cost $4,392.16 if you hurry!"

Ha! just had a conversation with myself in a room full of people... there are probably meds for that!

That's happened once or twice in the last few months, but not too often. That being said, I can see how it might be annoying, especially if it happens quite a bit. Even one or two unsolicited PMs bug me.

This might be true if you only get a few, but I've heard of some Warriors that get so many that it becomes annoying. One or two wouldn't bother me, but a dozen would get on my nerves. I've never received that many myself, but apparently some people have.

No different than getting unwanted spam in my email box. Unwanted yes. Annoying yes. But takes less than a second to delete. Putting ANY emotion into the fact that you are getting them, creates zero benefit for you or them. Unfortunately, its the price of admission to easy, quick, (public) communication systems.

Luckily I don't get too many unsolicited PMs but when I do see those sort of messages I just delete them, can't be bothered answering those sort of questions... Not the right way to go about things IMO.

I received two in the last two weeks.

The first one was obviously a self promotion job, and I just knew it would ask me for some sponddolies to get the product so's I could review it.

The second one was from a Warrior who's replied to my posts in the past, and I recognise from a number of conversations.
This one I contacted, and I'm currently putting it thorough its paces to see how good it is. Then I'll write a review, as requested. No prob.

I've never received one of those yet. I guess most people ignore me. Then again I mainly post downstairs in the "Bar and Grill" (Off Topic Forum to the uninitiated).

Come to think of it, most people ignore me down there as well.

As a newbie, I received many... I click and put my email to see videos. I receive now many many of them!!!

But I just feel those are scams, crook tactics and that nothing could work and/or help me. I saw to many WSO "ads" with fake posted results and with no-sens or contradictions.

Now, I'm disappointed and don't have much confidence in comments, recommendations on this forum and the net
