Hi Everyone

I am finding it difficult to get my head around finding a hungry crowd.

I understand it is a group of people interested in a certain area but if you break a niche up such as the weight loss niche (example purposes only as i know it is highly saturated) there is a hungry crowd for the general weight loss, diets and atkins diet so which hungry crowd would i actually be targeting if they all have a workable hungry crowd?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Rich

You would target the crowd that you're hoping to promote to. For example: You say weight loss and then diet and then atkins diet. In this case, you can target the whole weight loss crowd by having a review site of diets or review the atkins diet or just have a weight loss site where you target minimum competition keywords.

I hope i understood your question properly and gave you a helpful answer.

Are you trying to figure out how to find which niche has a hungry crowd, or where to find the hungry crowd online to market to them (after you've found the niche)?

no i am actually trying to find out am i trying to sell a general weight loss product to the weight loss hungry crowd or am i trying to sell a weight loss diet product to the weight loss diet hungry crowd. Or do i just sell something to do with weight loss to everyone?
If so the hungry crowd i would be targeting would obviously be weight loss.

Sorry if i am confusing you all i struggle to put it into words.
    Thanks

  • Hi Rich. I am hoping I am understanding your question correctly. If you were promoting a weight loss product then you obviously want to target people who are looking to lose weight. You can break that large group of targeted people down to reduce some of the competition. If you know the product you are wanting to promote then look at its benefits and see if you can find some good keywords relating to it that do not have a huge amount of competition. If you do not have a particular product then visit some weight loss forums and see what topics are popular and try to find a product to promote that would solve their problem. Hope that helps!

There are at least two schools of thought on this. Some marketers may approach it by segmenting with low-competition keywords for sub-niches while others crack it wide open using more direct, head-on methods. The more profitable method is hitting it head-on such as defining the problem with emphasis on risks and dangers, then offering your solution of the problem. An example of this technique is through article syndication, which offers direct traffic from virtually unlimited targeted publications read by the hungry crowds.

Obesity is a crisis in the US, and also is a serious problem in Europe as well. The Surgeon General has stated that nearly two-thirds of Americans are overweight or obese, and one out of every eight deaths in America is caused by an illness directly related to overweight and obesity. Using such provocative and alarming facts from documented sources within articles syndicated far and wide, you should not have a problem attracting large convertible swaths of the population. The "solution" may be a wide variety of products, books, or equipment.

    Hi Miriam,

    Thank you for your reply.

I have been taught to find a hungry crowd then find a product to suit that hungry crowd, however where is the hungry crowd i am targeting as there is sufficient amount of people in all three areas i have mentioned all wanting slightly more targeted products to suit their topic so who would i actually be targeting to sell a product to?

    Thanks
