Many people have taken this thread very lightly and are treating this as a joke. But the OP has a clear message to communicate to people and his effort to communicate this message shouldn't go down the drain. He is trying to give a wake up call to those who are thinking the IM should be "easy money" and it should be treated as a "side business".

The hidden message inbetween the lines are fabulous and he has indirectly communicated to all of us that these are things you should be willing to do if you are serious in IM business.

Let's help OP in adding some good "spice" to this thread and make this thread a meaningful one. I would appreciate that.

I second this. While the thread is quite funny, the underlying message is very important.

There is no way to earn money easily. You don't necessarily have to invest money to earn more, but you do need time regardless.

If 1,000,000.00 could be earned in one week with no investments, the world would be a pretty cool place

Well, it's an offline method but what the heck... When I was 10 I collected a lot of pop bottles in a weekend. I cashed them in on Monday (thirty seven thousand trips in mom's station wagon to the market) and I was really surprised to get a little over a million. And that was just a single weekend. My only question is how comfortable are you with videos?

This is how celebrities - be they movie stars, singers and sportsmen made money. Not just in their careers but endorsing products on behalf of companies who are impressed by them.

If you can do 1 solid video on anything you like to do except ponography and others like to do as well, who knows?

Companies might look and even contact you to endorse their products! Once that happened, making that money is a real possibility.

Companies like Sony, Sega Enterprises, Acer etc.

Now is that a result of those push button magic program promising riches overnight, or some of the so-called Guru's pushing unrealistic expectations?

It could also be the perception of online marketing in general, people really do think that we just sit there printing money with absolutely no work...

Actually, it is quite simple. Take one penny (everyone has a penny, don't they?), then double that penny the first day, then double that amount (2 pennies) the next day, and keep doubling the previous days total each day.

I'm with Elizabeth on this one. Aluminium, yes, there are a lot of BS products, I'll tell you something else as well - lots of them are sold by noobs who have never made a dime online.

The reason you, I, or anyone fail at starting and growing a successful internet business is because we didn't want it bad enough, period. Let me explain.

If we really wanted a successful business we would formulate a plan, start our website, and things called "obstacles" would not exist to us. Why? Because we decided that we truly want to be successful in our endeavor. So, anytime we hit a snag, we get off our asses and find a solution.

We don't have traffic? We research how to get traffic.
Traffic from Google is yummy? We research how to get better rankings.
We need backlinks from relevant sites? We research sites to put our backlinks on.
We have traffic but no conversions? We research how to write better copy.
We have some traffic and some conversions, but no repeat customers? We learn how to retain an audience through email list building.
Our opt-in forms aren't converting? We research better ways to acquire the lead through email list building and make improved squeeze pages.
Out list is growing but not converting? We research how to write better copy and follow up sequences.

And on, and on, and on.

This post was to serve as a reminder to others, and to myself, that the money is there for the making; only if you really want to grab it.

The other side note to this was that people who make pretty silly threads, while they may have the best intentions, can do some big damage to their reputation on this forum before they even realize that reputation can become very important down the road.

Going forward with Travelinguy's idea ;-), you could do like what Newman and Kramer did on Seinfeld.

Buy some of your own soda bottles, steal a few off of unsuspecting people, and take a cartful from street people. Wrap them all in huge garbage bags/whatever, procure a mail truck, and if you live in the States, drive the mail truck to Michigan, where you can get more for your (empty) soda buck.

And since Mother's Day is coming up soon, this would work very, very well (just like it did on the show...ooo, wait it didn't work because Kramer had to veer off and follow the mechanic who took Jerry's car).

Let me know if you get that million - I could sure use a few thousand or so. ;-)

I’ll make this easy for you and give you the steps.
Really it works, if you can get steps 1, 5 & 9 right.
Oh, there is no step 9.
ok, Better make it step 2 & 4 then.

Step 2 : Tell them to read this post, because you can’t be bothered reading it yourself and do the work described.
Step 3 : They need to go to the shiny bright object section and find the product that has the Free instant Billionaire button (don’t buy the one for $9.67 it is a rip off, the free one works best and it complies with the not spending money part of your specification).
Step 4 : They need to download the button and click on it once and once only (they only want to make you a billionaire once).
Step 5 : Go back to warrior poorum website and find the section that has the products in it that do nothing at all, but cost you money and make hollow promises (tell him not to buy the ones that work and definitely not buy the ones that work if he intends on using them).

No, we're mostly saying it outright: income claims are crap, screenshots are usually fake, and anyone who thinks those are "proof" of anything is stupid.

That doesn't mean the products don't work, though. Lots of people think it's okay telling a bunch of lies to sell good products. They think as long as the customer is happy, you can say whatever you want to make him buy. And from a purely psychological standpoint, they're right - a happy customer doesn't care whether you lied to him.

So it's all up to your own discretion whether you tell a pack of lies on your sales page or not. Plenty of people do; plenty of people don't. I wouldn't feel comfortable saying "most" are on either side of the line. I know most of the sales pages I myself see and buy from are on the honest side, but I still see an awful lot of outright lies.

I think that a lot of people are missing the point of the original post, if the message that is being received is that it is not possible to make a substantial financial change in your life by performing the functions described.

The fact is that a lot of people buy WSOs and read the posts here on the Warrior Forum and then spend very little time carrying out the instruction given.

They deservedly get the result that should be expected.

On the other side of things, if everything that was described in the original post was carried out, there would be fewer failures.

I am pretty sure that the original post was a light hearted poke at the people that expect to have success doing the things they have been show in WSOs and post here, but don't actually take the action they need to take to make it work.

No pain no gain.

This will probably fall of deaf ears too, because like all the good stuff that is sold and given away here, it is longer that two lines and probably won't get read entirely.

I and many other Warriors on this forum are guilty of buying stuff here and not doing something with it. I buy a lot of WSO just out of curiosity and expect nothing to happen if I don't action the advice.

But I don't complain about the method not working when I don't execute the actions required to make it work,

So laugh loudly at the concept of making a million dollars without any effort, but take away a lesson that a million dollars in 4 weeks (although unlikely), is possible with a well executed plan and the action to back it up (I have seen it happen for others).

What if you aimed for $1 million and fell short and only made ten or twenty thousand. That would be a life chaging 4 weeks for most people on this forum.

Just don't expect it to happen at the click of a button, with a product or service that is not your own and especially without any effort at all (like was described in the original post).

7-figure entrepreneurs aren't made overnight. You can make money online with a full time income through blogging and making words crackle with energy. ;)

Note: This is fictional (as in, I'm messing around). But be wise to the type of image you project to your peers here also. Never know who you'll need or want to do business with in the future.

Get a rich girlfriend, borrow money from here, ditch her and run.

Ha... Sounds like a Facebook message I got the other day... Lady said "dennis how do you make money on Facebook. I need cash but if it's one of those things where I have to pay money, I'm not interested"...

So I told her the basics of internet marketing.

People come to the internet (lately it's been Google) and they have problems/needs/wants...

Our job as internet marketers is to show them what the best solution to their problem/need/want is...

now you aren't paying to make money because that would just be a pyramid scheme...

What you're paying for is the knowledge to learn how to get your stuff in front of those people..."

How about she blocked me on Facebook.. LOL

Some people will never get it... They'll pay for an education to learn how to make $25k a year but an education from people who are living the life of your dreams, they want for free...

It's sad to see the majority of the people that posted a reply missed the point of the thread completely.

I guess reading takes too much work, "I'll outsource it instead", oh wait.. I don't want to invest any money.

Next thing you hear..

"(SCAM) This thread sucks, I made $0 from it".
