Struggling to find On-Page SEO contractor

I've been around the block on Elance and Odesk trying to find an On-Page SEO (only) contractor to work with me on multiple projects. I've gone through 300+ contractors and I keep ending up with contractors that want to do off-site and on-page SEO, but I just need On-Page help.

I already have a full-time off-site SEO team and they don't focus as much on the On-Page SEO efforts.

Any advice on places or ways to locate a good on-page SEO team? I'm ready to hire this week if I can complete the interview process with a qualified contractor.

    John, there are a number of people doing onpage SEO. I'm surprised you haven't found people on Elance and Odesk who are willing to do just on-page SEO.

    What type of work is it for? (wordpress sites, static, drupal, joomla, content creation or meta data creation, internal linking and sitemaps etc..?)

    I am also looking for this - on page SEO including creating internal link structure and editing links for juice/no juice and making sure the snippets that appear in the search results are optimised. I keep trying myself but it all comes out looking rubbish!

    Will try those places myself

      Either by adding the meta description data or by using an SEO plugin. What's causing you problems?

      you can have a meta description, but if google thinks there is a more relevant snippet to use in the search results, it will use that instead. what i am getting at is you can't define the exact description that gets displayed in the search results. the most important meta element is the page title.

    Echo Andy's suggestion. have you thought about SEOpressor of Clickbump SEO plugins? They to my mind would be cheaper than hiring someone (however you may want to weigh up your time/cost benefit of outsourcing if you have multiple projects).
