How to engage your audience?

The best way to engage your audience is to write valuable content that provides fresh information. Every article you write is a chance to persuade and educate your visitors. Make sure the articles you write offer practical solutions to people's problems. Perform a Google search to find out what your targeted audience wants to know. Share your personal experiences and explain your own interest in the topic.

I wrote a blog post consisting of tips from my Twitter followers. The tweet went something like, "Share your top marketing tip and it will be featured in tomorrow's blog post", got a lot of response and a lot of retweets once it was published. Plus I gained more subscribers than usual with that post.

Besides content, you should keep comments open and reply to anyone who leaves a comment so that a discussion can be started. Try to make the articles informative, yet personal.

People will feel like they are reading stuff written by a fellow human being rather than a machine. I think that is the best way to engage an audience Of course, there is absolutely no substitute for good, useful, informative content.

Don't just throw something together and click submit like ninety-five percent of bloggers do. Make sure you have researched the niche that you are writing a blog about, and that you keep the information interesting and easy to read. It should be writing so that anyone can understand it. A little humor or some interesting facts don't hurt.
