Promoting an AWeber Form in my sig file?

I'm doing a lot of research on the WF rules, and I'm getting a ton of different answers, so I wanted to talk to the main community before I bother a moderator via PM.

Let's say I have an autoresponder opt-in form (my own) that is hosted by aweber.com

Am I allowed to link to this form via my signature link given the fact that it ISN'T hosted on my own domain, but it is MY OWN work.

^ That is where I am having the most trouble. I know the reason for the intense WF rules is to stop spamming of aff. links etc. but I wanted to know if this is allowed or not in a purely ethical point of view. I want to give value etc. but I don't see the harm in giving away some extra free content to build a list?

So... yay or nay?

If nay, can I have a domain (my own) redirect or iFrame the optin form?

Thanks in advance!

WHy don't you just put it on your domain and have your sig go there?

Lets assume that I have no technical know-how and I don't have the $ to get someone to do this for me.

Just like how someone without the technical skill to change a tire wouldn't know how to drive, either.

The skills may be comparable in complexity, but you don't HAVE to know both.

I'm just curious, but why not just ask for the "technical know-how", instead?

Please excuse the observation that, to me, that would be a reason to ask a Moderator.

For me, throwing it open to the "main community" to solicit a mass of different opinions hardly seems like much of a fix for a problem arising from "getting a ton of different answers".

My guess is that it's probably allowed, with no problem, but I'm not a Moderator so - just like anyone else you're asking here - I can only guess.

I guess I was just looking for someone like you to smack some sense into me lol.

This is also a way to attract a moderator's attention, before I PM. It would be great if someone could help me out

If it's promoting your list, the answer is: Yes.

    Joseph,

It's a lot simpler to include a hyperlink in a signature than to build a web page and insert the form properly.
