Any Advice For Someone In Final Steps Of Launching A ClickBank Product?

Hi you guys.. Havent posted here in a while.. have been working on my ebook for a long time now. I have it about 90% complete but, I can see I am in need of some custom art work.

I am no graphic artist and, I guess I need to hire somebody that can create some custom images based around the theme of my book.

I have a very specific standard I am tryn to meet with my images and I would like to work with somebody one on one to express my desires for this project.

I was going to look around Freelancer and Odesk but have never used those sites before and I just don't exactly know what too do at this point.

I know I am also going to need somebody to write out a custom index.html file for me and possibly lay every thing in order.

I have a very specific look I am going for with my sales page. I know exactly what I want it too look like and, it should not be extremely difficult. I just need some help

I also have no idea how I am going to get the word out about my book but, I know it is going to be a winner for sure (not IM niche)

If any of you can lend any bit of advice it would be soo much appreciated.. This book means a whole lot to me.

P.S. I know this post should probly be going in the "For Hire" section but Im not exactly sure what Im going to do yet. I have never launched a product of any kind before.

Sounds like you're on the right track. I'd look through the Warriors For Hire and WSO forums-there is a lot of talent to be had. You should be able to find someone who will take the time to het to know what you want.

To be clear, are you only looking for graphics or do you need copy as well?

    You gotta start somewhere.

I don't know what you expect to hear besides the fact that you just gotta do it?

I mean- start messaging Warriors who have For Hire threads regarding graphics. Go to Odesk, put a contract out there, and talk to some of the best people who apply.

As for getting the word out- you can do press releases, contact website owners within that niche, pay per click, lots of stuff.

Unfortunately putting together the book/ecourse is only about 50%. The other 50 is graphics, traffic, tweaking for conversions, payment method, etc.

Before I worried about the 'look' of my sales page, I would...

    1) Get professional copy written
    2) Think about how to attract affiliates (they won't just sign up, too many products already on clickbank.)

The forum's a good place to start for both.

i think I understand now.. I basically need to have a professional sales copy first above all things. I am doing that own my own.. I already know exactly what needs to be said.

My main concern I guess is finding somebody who will hear me out on where I am tryn to go with this product and truly understand the mission Im on with it..

I have a perfect idea and I need somebody to help me bring it to life.

With ClickBank you have access to an army of affiliates to get the word out about your product. When it comes to affiliates, among other things, one of the basic things I would recommend is to have a top-notch affiliate resource section. Don't make it a challenge to access this section, like some vendors do (while asking for your life history in the process), just keep open access to it while giving the option to opt-in to those who want updates.

Also, make sure you have a variety of promotional material available in the affiliates section. Material such as nice banner ads in different sizes, example text ads, articles, example AdWords ads, keyword lists, example reviews & email promotions, etc. I personally normally do not touch with a 100 foot pole any material provided by the vendor, because then I wouldn't be any different than all the other million affiliates out there trying to promote the product (and most 'successful' affiliates are the same way). However, looking at the depth of a vendor's affiliate section to me is an indicator of how much they care about their affiliates and how much work they've put into having promotional material made for their affiliates. If it's one of those "here's one banner I made real quick in paint BUT there's a lot more coming soon!!", and it's been like that for 5 years, I'm not going to be promoting that product. I'm sure you get the idea. You can look through the affiliate sections of different ClickBank vendors to see which ones look good and which ones suck.

I also normally just shoot an email to the vendor via whatever contact method they have listed on the site, tell them I'm considering promoting their product but have some questions, and then I just ask some questions. I do this even if I understand everything about their product and don't have any questions. Then I see how long they take to reply and what sort of reply they send. If they take a week to reply, then I know they might be doing the same with their customers so I won't promote them. If they reply quickly but with a one-liner without explaining what I asked, then again I know they may be doing the same with their customers so I won't promote their product. If they reply within a reasonable amount of time with reasonable and sensible answers to my questions, then and only then I go ahead with promoting their product. Just some things to keep in mind.

In the end, don't go crazy over every little thing, it'll probably never be perfect. Just get everything ready to a respectable level and then get the product out there and test/tweak as you go along.

I think you should ask some trusted warriors to review your product and for you to get some feedback (pre-released). I'm sure there are lots out there who is willing to help you out. From there, find services from O-desk or the "Warriors for Hire" to implement the changes they recommended.

There are quite a few Warriors who are offering services that might be useful to you. Use the search feature to look for these services and read through them, If you're not satisfied you can publish an ad in the Warriors looking to hire you section mentioning exactly what you want to get done. The same will apply to oDesk - be specific in your ad. You can check ratings, feedback and previous experience of people in oDesk and other freelance sites.

I guess what I am looking for is not so much "just" a graphic artist or "just" a web designer. I want a teammate.. Somebody who can see my vision and understand the potential behind my product (and further products in the future).

I want somebody who can say, "Aight.. I know exactly what to do.. Ive done this a bajillion times and, this is how your properly launch a ClickBank product"..

I want somebody that knows what it takes to have a successful product launch and who can guide me through the process. I have never done this before and I am more than willing to pay for somebody to hold my hand through this.. Like I said.. I am looking for a teammate more than anything..
