Accounts Banned Yet? Diversify Now and Don't Lose Your Shirt!

Okay so there's probably more at stake than just your shirt or blouse here.

There have been a lot of posts again recently regarding people getting their accounts closed on places like Amazon or Adwords and losing a lot if not all of their income overnight.

So why not "think ahead" and diversify your income sources to avoid serious pain which could be just around the corner?

Just by putting a little extra thought into how you construct your websites you can use many different types of monetization so if you run into issues with one it's not going to be much of a problem - let alone crush your income.

Don't forget to apply the same logic to traffic sources as well, we all know that search traffic can be huge but it's not the only source of visitors.

Diversify now and don't wait for the problems to happen if you might be too reliant on one income or traffic source.

Well said. Individuals should be concerned about losing their income source, because of the recent account closings.

Your two-pronged solution to be careful to follow the rules to avoid a closing and to diversify your income sources makes perfect sense. Thanks, Nell.

It's what you do when no one is watching
that determines what you will be able to
    do when everyone is watching.

Very good advice and something everyone should be aware of. I could not imagine losing all of my income that quick. Fortunately, I have a large savings account for emergencies but many people don't.

Adsense accounts get suspended/closed for many reasons but if you get enough traffic to your sites I suppose you're safe in the sense that you can switch to an alternative type of monetization.
