Wordpress Theme for Squeeze Pages

What's the best Wordpress Theme for a true-blue squeeze page; ie. no sidebar, probably no banner/header at top either, and I don't think I even want to do a video squeeze page. Just simple squeeze page, a little text a few bullet points and an opt-in. I have heard of Optimize Press, but want to throw the question out to the warriors. Thanks!

You frequently see excellent WP squeeze pages offered in the War Room. I see you're a member, so take a look.

I think that the best theme for doing what you are asking is Optimize Press. It is like an All In One Suit of Squeeze, Sales, Membership, Blog, and Launch Pages. I love OP because you can do so much great stuff on it. I personally have, Squeeze Pages, Sales Pages, Blogs, Launch Funnels and Membership sites all with OptimizePress. If you need something different than this I usually go to theme forest, here you can buy from a bunch of themes that are available. I love it.

    I hope this helps,

A lot of people are going to recommend Optimize Press. It's probably the most popular theme for squeeze pages in WP.

I picked up ProfitsTheme and have never looked back. Great theme. Very versatile and does everything from squeeze pages to membership sites.

I also use Profits Theme and love it.

The thing is, if you only need ONE squeeze page then a paid theme is going to be overkill. There are a lot of nice squeeze page templates that can be added to any WP blog.

But if you are planning on expanding to more than a squeeze page (member site/sales pages/funnels) then a good premium theme would be helpful.

    1. OptimizePress,
    2. ProAffiliate Theme
    3. Many different more designer friendly themes at ThemeForest...

    example: themeforest.net/item/landing-page-/144534?WT.ac=search_thumb&WT.seg_1=search_thumb&WT .z_author=Hein&ref=webwaco

Currently OptimizePress trumps them all. Unlimited site licenses as stated above is key while using it for my clients.

I'm not the first to say it, but yea, Optimize Press is really great. And what's especially nice is the one-time modest fee, and you can use it on multiple sites. It's really hard to beat.

Why paying if you can start for free?
Search "free wordpress squeeze page theme" in Google and you'll find several. I've used them myself and they're great.

I'm a huge Profits Theme fan! It's got a little bit of a learning curve but mainly because it's so packed with features (easier than Optimize Press and Authority Pro). It has a very powerful built-in membership management system, and does opt-ins beautifully.
So I use Optimize Press (My Fave!), Authority Pro (a bit difficult), the Site Crusher themes (quick and dirty), the entire PremiumPress series (Amazing, but pretty niche or task specific per template), and I purchased ProAffiliate Theme yesterday, but after several emails have still yet to receive a login link or have any success with the "lost my password" link on login. Sigh, looks promising, so when I have access to it I'll keep you posted!

Im a huge advocate for Optimize Press. Seriously, this theme has it all. Some folks think it's complicated, and I just can't see how that could ever be the case. Especially with all the tutorial videos that show you exactly what to do.

Don't get me wrong, Optimize Press is awesome. I wish they would complete the theme previews, that endlessly annoys me. It's probably the best theme available right now for quickly creating landing pages, and I love it for that!

After looking at all of these types of themes for over a couple of months (also tried a bunch of themes such as Authority Pro), I think your best bet is to find a professionally designed theme on themeforest or some such site that has all the visual elements you're looking for.

Sometimes, the author will even add a feature for you if the theme doesn't have it... such as a landing page layout or the option to remove dates from blog posts.

Then find a good plugin to add or manage styles. The best I could find recently is Shortcodes With Styles. It allows you to create shortcodes with custom fields. It comes with 100+ shortcodes, but they're mostly picture frames.

Then just build your collection of shortcodes. You can buy web element packs for $5 each then do the conversion to SWS yourself or just hire someone in the Philippines to do it for you for a song and a dance.

Once you've designed pages you like, there's a plugin you can use to clone your pages with a simple button click... your designs become templates for you.

This way, you can switch out themes to keep up with design trends or your changing personal preferences. If a theme breaks when a WP update comes out, just activate a new theme and continue with life as usual.

All the Premise-type themes I've looked at just don't look that great and you run the risk of having to deal with inferior support or the themes becoming abandoneware within 6 to 12 months...

EDIT: Forgot to mention- one plugin for generating landing pages that I'm really impressed with is OptinLite for sale here on WF for just $17. It's landing pages are way better looking than anything I've seen on Optimise Press, Authority Pro, Squeeze Theme, or any of the much more expensive options out there. Also, it's a plugin...
