Ideas For Fiverr Gigs?

Hey all! I'm looking to see if anyone has any ideas for Fiverr gigs that aren't on Fiverr yet. This list won't be exclusively for me; rather, it's for anyone out there who wants to get started on Fiverr and make some money. I'm actually helping an offline friend get started today on Fiverr in a little JV kinda thing. Maybe someone will post an idea or two here that she can use as well?

      Good share of the gigs I can plan in near future to market there on Fiverr & Fiveruk.

      Even I was planning to offer adsense setup / managing SEO campaigns there with little change in price & who knows I can get good business out there in a short span of time. Fiverr is just awesome !!!

      These are a lot of the most in demand there are on Fiverr and that's why they are a good idea... want something unique? I haven't tried this out properly yet, but Fiverr have a "Gifts" section. Go to eBay, search for a box, case, or "lot" of jewellery, sort the data so that it brings back the cheapest (inc. shipping). You will find a ton of nice costume jewllery with free shipping from China, spend the $3 or whatever it costs for the box (usually around 20 items per box). When you get it, take some good pics and offer them at 2 for $5. Create 20 gigs all with different types of Jewellery and add an upsell to every one and a duplicate one with a reworded description that offers the same thing. Then you will have a complete jewellery business on Fiverr which can't be hard o market! I have added jewellery in the box and Fiverr allowed it. My downfall is that I offered the complete box and said to allow three weeks for it to ship (as China takes a while to deliver).

      However, piynt is - who wants to buy a whole box when they are looking for a small gift? Probably no one.
      Who wants to wait three weeks? No one

      BUT!
      If you buy first and offer gigs that are all exclusively within a tight range such as all in the Gift section,
      can offer better shipping times - you may have some very good luck with it. I will be trying this out more as I rotate out my under-performing gigs..

    Seasonal events have a demand in fiverr. When you see special days like Fathers day, Valentine day, Christmas etc or events, Make a gig to supply videos. Most of these gets will be displayed in first page of fiverr. Just my 2 cents.

    What Ive seen the most results from is to actually respond to the suggested gigs on the side of the page. Youd be surprised how often people look over those. If you see something that you can do, quickly created the gig, make them an offer and send them the link to the gig.

    And just like Victoralexon, post gigs for everything that you can do.

    Even if it can be found already, people usually want stuff done RIGHT NOW, so If you are very responsive, you can get the gigs alot of times regardless of how many other people have it posted.

    As a blogger, I know there are key times when I am anxious to outsource. There are often difficulties one runs into. At times like these, I am especially anxious to outsource.

    One service you might offer would be naming of a blogpost. People put up posts and give them blah names. With a blah name...people just ignore the post. I have read threads on this forum which discuss ways to entitle a post so that it gets read.

        I had this same idea, except I'm overweight and pale to a fault. I posted one offering to give away my diet plan for gaining weight, but it didn't seem to be too popular.

        This is awesome, too! I tried it once with no success, but I was probably just late to the party. I had 15 gigs up, but only 2 sales so I took them all down last night. (They were up for about 2 weeks.) I'm going to try and make some things that are more original and see if that works better.

          How about making audio/video voiceovers reading off articles and other written content. This is something I'm thinking of getting done for my wiki site in the future. When I looked on Fiverr though, everyone is offering only 60 seconds which seems pretty tight. An article would only take 2 or 3 minutes to read off.

          This would also pave the way for offering to create audio versions of books, ebooks, reports etc. if she advertises as someone who charges reasonable rates.

          The best thing to do is offer a talent or service that is unique but I find that there are lots of orders for sign pictures or promo videos. I did promo videos and had so many orders I had to suspend it was just too much for too little money. Good luck!

            Yes, $4 is too little, it is ok for premade content or automatically made content only. Like get five lines of text, push button that generates video with those lines and sends video to customer. You could try to automate your videos this way.

    I bought this one after seeing one of them featured with over 300 positive reviews within a month's time. All he sent me was his PDF for his diet plan. In addition, he had $10's worth of upsells about a more detailed diet plan and another upsell of his "favorite workout music playlist".

    By far this has been a revelation to me and unlike the service gigs, he completes his gigs by simply uploading the PDF, which takes about 2 seconds to do. And he only had to make the PDF/video ONCE.

    Go for this or for "how to lose weight" and upload a video of yourself and you might be rolling in dough. Include before/after shots as proof and people will crawl to you with the upcoming beach season.

      Yep, this is a great idea. I'd do something like similar. Write up an ebook on "how to lose 10 pounds in 10 days" Use a catchy video showing after and before pics. Another thing you could do is initially offer some free copies in exchange for a good review. Once, people start seeing the reviews, they wil flock towards you, like a magnet with the upcoming season, weight loss is in big demand. Might as well cash in on that. A lot of revenue potential here with a lot less work, compared to other stuff like proofreading, writing and the typical fiverr gigis.

          The best thing to offer is something that "dangles a carrot" so to speak... Meaning you want to give away a "small portion" of your services, so they can have an idea of what you can do on a much bigger level... I have used Fiverr for small SEO gig's like (meta tag/title and other on-site optimization) or 20 minutes of free consulting, etc... Something that allows me to show them exactly "what I'm fully capable" and then after they see 20 minutes worth, about 1/3 of those people will convert it to MUCH bigger clients..

          Fiverr is a great resource to reach out to other people. Nice find!

    If you are looking for more than 60 seconds you can usually buy multiple gigs. I have some voice over gigs on there and also do some screen capture stuff in the form of tutorials and website reviews.

    The testimonial gigs are usually hot too, but I didn't want to mess with a camera and the last couple requests I had I wasn't comfortable doing so I dropped them from my list. One wanted me to say I made money on their stock program and the other was for an erectile dysfunction medicine/drug/treatment of some kind. I opted out of those. I also found that the individuals doing these were a little more critical in what they were asking for.

    Why do you need "new" ideas? Fiverr has been around long enough that there are probably very few truly "new" ideas to be had.

    So, instead, why not take something that is currently being offered and improve upon it? Make it better, cheaper, faster... or give it a unique twist of some sort.

      Why wouldn't I need new ideas? I put old ideas up and, frankly, made $8 in two weeks. With some of the new ideas I've gotten tonight, I've already made $4 in 2 hours...I'll see if it holds out, but at least it's something.

    My most creative Fiverr gig so far has been my offer to send Britney Spears a 140 character direct message via Twitter, since she follows me for some reason. Had several takers for that one so far...

    But oddly enough, the most profitable type of Fiverr gig I have created so far has been an offer to do simple research on whatever the buyer's topic is and find them a collection of top-notch links/resources.

    For example, one of my most popular gigs simply offered to find fifteen high-paying affiliate programs for the buyer's niche. Tons of repeat buyers on that one and very easy to find good programs via Clickbank, ShareASale and Commission Junction. Nice thing is that many buyers have similar or the same niches, so I can reuse my previously created lists. I also compiled all the different lists of affiliate programs I found for all my Fiverr buyers and created a standalone product that contained over 300 worthwhile affiliate programs to check out, all categorized by topic/niche.

    Great thread! Love all the great ideas that have been shared. I've had some minor success with Fiverr. My most successful gig was doing testimonial videos. I made just over $200 in the first month but I had to shut it down due to too many people wanting me to do the scripting and it was taking too much time.

    I can't wait to try some of the ideas shared here!

      Have you thought about posting that job again, but with extras this time? For example, I saw one the other day where the seller offered to read a script for $5, write it and read it for $10, and put the buyer at the front of his/her queue for $20. Seems like you could be more profitable that way.

      This is a great idea, but I'd feel guilty if I did it now because I'd be competing with you. I don't want to do that, especially if you're making money on it now...I'm an ethical IM'er.

    1) Submit website or blog to the top 20, 50, 70, etc... search engines
    and directories.
    2) Offer to create a spun version of any article of 500 words or less
    3) Offer a valuable top 10 list of some sort
    4) Offer advice on something that you are an expert in .
    5) Write an original Haiku, poem or short story about any subject.

    I think, it is better to create gigs based on your expertise. It is not always possible for your to create gigs which you are not capable of completing. If you know singing, create a gig based on singing. If you know graphic design, create a gig based on that. Do not bother for orders only. If your provided gigs are perfect, you will get tons of orders.

    I'd recommend the prank calls, but if you are a professional IMer, I would say do anything that other marketers really need. Think about the things that you need as a marketer, and then come up with something that you personally need.

    I was thinking of offering 10-20 high res professional photographs of ordinary items. I'd take a new batch of photos for each order and never reuse old photos.The items would be limited to what I have on hand. If it works, I'd be earning off being a pack rat.

    Sometimes people need to pay someone for buying their own product. Like now I put my product on Clickbank and need someone to buy it with affiliate link to remove zero earnings from listing.

    I tried to find a gig for this and googled it, but didn't find anything. It can be profitable (one will receive 1) payment from vendor for service, 2) comissions from clickbank for buying via one's own aff link, 3) product) and there is no risk (if one bought the product and vendor don't pay for service one will have 60 days Clickbank refund guarantee).

    So think about it, it's good and helpful service.

    Fiverr Gigs are a great way to get some quick income! and the goal of making these gigs are to do them in a 10 to 15 minute timeframe! Than it would be worth your time, to make an earning or possibly a killing on fiverr!

    Any kind of service and sometimes product that offers massive on fiverr is good. I find services are better than products generally on fiverr. Either wya your gig should be a front end offer should really "wow the person", and make them say, "you'll really do that for only $5?". These are the types of gigs that really sell well on fiverr. Hopefully you can then upsell them on something else for more.

    EXCELLENT thread, a sort of Group Buyin for Fiverr ideas to make extra bank, without having to actually buy anything!!!

    Maybe you can add all the ideas to your original post, in a nice list from all the answers from the input

    1) Telling someone to stop being negative and start being positive Skype call
    2) Writing a review on the next 10 potential Internet Crazes
    3) Running round to a Charity store/shop/outlet/branch of your buyers choice and helping out for an hour
    4) Make a simple "Informative" "Positive" "Honest" testimonial/review on a Church website

          Yes, this has nothing to do with unique ideas.
          Search "meditate on your financial abundance" and you'll see lots of the same gigs.
          If you see the successfull gig that means the gig receives buyers' traffic. That's it. And the less unique idea is the higher its profits.

    i hardly think that there is something not already on fiverr... but, there is a thing that is always in demand: video reviews! ive seen a lot of people successfully starting by promoting video reviews on fiverr, getting some start up cash and then going onto bigger ventures.

      I'm considering it as a possible income stream. With upsells and products or services that can be completed in minutes why wouldn't you make money? My ambitions go way beyond fiverr but when you're sitting at ground zero, why not consider all options?

    I use to make about $90 a day on fiverr way back.

    It was hard work, but it was fun.

    HOW?

    Simple! I reverse enegineered and added value to top ranking gigs. It takes about a week to get it rolling but once you get lots of feedback it sort of goes viral. You need to pick stuff with high volume, and something you can do in 20 mins, so you cna handle high volume gigs.

    Find a narrow niche with no competition as in zero. That way you are on top when people search for your service. Otherwise, you are going to be buried at the bottom of the pile and get no gigs. For example, there are thousands of PHP programmers. Hard to get seen in that scene. There was only one person for "install pligg" last year. Well, there are over twenty persons now. I do not rec. Find other similar arenas. Make sure they are very narrow.

    One thing I was told to do when I signed up to Fiverr was to make a list on paper featuring every single thing you can do that somebody might buy (recipes, dj how to info, barber ideas, flyer design, etc..). It worked for me and I eventually started to make money daily off my over all skill set.

    The thing to do also is look on Fiverr and a few of the clone sites and see what gigs that are available and at the same time see if any of them match up with anything on your list.

    Is there any reason why you're wanting to target something that's isn't on Fiverr?

    You might assume because it's exclusive, it will be in demand however this isn't always the case and it's often a lot more appropriate to just see what's selling and sell it yourself - ideally with a unique twist.
