Sometimes you have to trust your gut

I recently hired a warrior (won't name names) to perform a task on my site. paid him $50 up front and its been weeks nearly 3 weeks since I paid him and he hasn't done anything.

his communication has been incredibly poor also.

But I am the one to blame. I'm almost positive I've had a negative experience with this guy in the past but against my gut feeling and better judgement, i hired him.

I have requested a refund from him so I'm hoping he complies.

There unfortunately are some shady characters on the WF and preying upon fledging IM'ers in general.

I really should've trusted my gut

Yes try and do that, also always look for some kind of reviews or a portfolio or maybe a referral before hiring someone the first time that you do not know
