Multiple sites hosting

Hi, everyone.
I would like to ask you question regarding web hosting.
Let's say i have several websites and i need to host them somewhere. Using shared hosting i need to use one of domain as a main one (Linux version) and all other domains are placed in subfolders in root directory. Actually, everything works fine, but if too type main domain name in search - i am finding all my websites in organic search results, which means that all domains, parked on my hosting account are related to the main one.
So what is the solution to isolate one site from other?
Is it really smart way to have different hosting plan to any different website according to SEO ?
Maybe there is any other hosting solution to pay for one account and not to mix all the sites in organic search?
Thanks for every advice!

For SEO its not just about having a different hosting, but I think you should have a different IP... I personally don't see having the need for multiple sites if the niche is the same or even similar... you are just competing against yourself. Hey, but I am no im and I am new to this, but those my friends as they say is my 2 cents

As far as I am aware having sites as add-on domains (which sounds like what you have done) have no effect on SEO, as the site is treated as a serperate domain. Although someone might have to confirm.

Also, not sure what credit builder is saying about having different IP's???
