How I Made $6k In Jan 2009

Hey everyone,

Long time no post.... but for very good reason.

I'm working hard to boost my income - I'm at a plateau and am working on busting it through the roof (if you wanna see how, just follow me on Twitter).

With the whole "offline" thing taking up chunks of this forum, you could be forgiven for thinking that IM was dead... but it's far from it... and the best thing is that any one can make moeny right now.

It just takes 2 things:

1) Selling something that people WANT.
2) Getting that product in front of people's eyes.

That's IT.

So here's how I used that to make $6k from scratch last month:

1) Found a large market who buys a lot of products every day.
-- Check out the Clickbank marketplace and see what's selling a LOT

2) Created a premium product in that market
-- Didn't go for copycat approach, I made a product which I could sell for slightly more

3) Advertised on Digital Point Forums to get affiliates
-- This was kind of a mistake because I should have tested... but I still attracted a few peeps with email lists to blast my product out for me

4) Started getting flow of traffic & sales!!
-- Because I based the product on ones which were doing really well, I could rely on the "formula" to get me sales, so I just needed traffic. In future projects, testing is going to be paramount.

5) Flipped the site
-- Some of you may think this was "crazy" but I'd rather have money in my pocket than "cashflow". I can't go on vacation with "future earnings" can I??

Now I'm working on a bunch of more products.

Simple, eh?

All you gotta do is make something that people WANT and then get it in front of them.

Hope this inspires peeps. As I mentioned, I'm going to start to build a bigger presence in IM this year.
