Am I missing something here?.....

I currently have roughly 3-4 Facebook fan pages, they have a good rank both on Google and FB. I make some decent money from them, problem is I can not seem to work out how to turn of the feature that allows fans to post links and comments.

On one hand I understand that it's good to allow them to discuss things. But on the other hand, it's beyond annoying having to keep deleting all the bloody spam links being posted on my pages.

I have looked in all of the different settings, I have even turned off the "Everyone can post" feature but it still allows them to post :confused:.

Anyone know how to stop this at all, any help would be appreciated.

    Facebook spam is really frustrating. I used to have a lot of trouble with their spam filter settings as well.



    If you click on the Options button as shown in the picture, you'll see a button titled Settings. There, you can control posting rules.

    • Hi thanks for replying to my problem, unfortunately I don't see the little "Padlock" nor the options on my posts via either my profile or the fan page.

  • Are people posting new updates or are they commenting on your updates? I don't know if you can turn commenting off, if that is the case.

  • Have you triedto contact them ? ?Yeah it seems futile but I have gotten help from one Facebooks rep before.

    • I would not waste my time to be honest, I have tried to reason with them before but they just blasted me out the water.
