Looking for a coach/mentor

Hi all,
I've been limping along for a while with my site earning a couple thousand per month. I'm ready to take it to the next level but I think I need help.

I did some searches on WF for 1 on 1 coaching. I found several but it seemed like their agenda was to teach me how to make money through amazon, or cpa, etc. Others were offering coaching through training modules and I'm looking to have someone I can talk with and bounce ideas off of.

What I'm looking for is a coach who can look at what I'm currently doing, help me develop a game plan to get to the next level, hold me accountable along the way, and help me troubleshoot as problems arise.

Can anyone here recommend someone or recommend another way about searching for this?

If you're searching by keyword also try searching for "Mastermind".

I think Brad Gosse's program fits what you're looking for. He has great experience and, well I'll let his thread do the talking-

Are you just looking to make much more money in general? Because if so, I can definitely help you. But what I have to share is almost completely passive. I have 3 things I use that are each very lucrative.

If you're seeking how make your blog/website more revenue though or anything cpa, adsense, clickbank, I'm not the mentor you're seeking. Although I believe in hard work, I strongly feel your money should be working hard for you at a certain point, not the other way around. Personally, I'm very adventurous and entrepreneurial, so these particular opportunities I'm involved with allow me to fund my dreams and free up my time so that I can actually get out and live.

And all 3 of these business opportunities are fairly quick to set up, as I mentioned almost completely passive, very lucrative and if you follow exactly what I show you everyone will experience the same results. Everyone. It's not like most of those bogus IM products that people waste their money on, where by the time they purchase the product and follow the steps, whatever they're doing is already saturated and they never achieve any results. Or what they didn't tell you in the product sales page is that you have to buy all this extra stuff. These are not like any of those.

Just PM me if you're curious or want more info. More than happy to help anyone who sincerely wants to be helped.

You could study internet marketing yourself and learn how to get to the next level. Mentors want to make you follow their program. They don’t analyze your business and put their brain to work in order to find the solutions necessary especially for your business.

On the other hand, it's dangerous to trust others. I believe that studying will help you know what to do, or at least, be able to evaluate the advice you’ll have.

Well, doesn't studying someone's material require you to trust the person?

A mentor's job is not to find solutions for you. Their main job is to guide you and to ask the right questions so YOU can find the answers.

Of course, they will also warn you if they see danger. The thing is you can't expect anybody in this world to figure out how things should go for you. You may get it once in a while but it's your responsibility.

Personally, I believe a mentor will help you get where you need to go much faster. Usually it's money well spent.

Coaching can be invaluable. I've coached a lot of people and been coached. While it's not my focus I enjoy it quite a bit so I am seeking a few more clients. I don't have any sales letter or WSO on it.

BUT, I just started with someone needing sales training. She had a breakthrough her first session, which I believe is going to make her much more effective. In terms of translating her face-to-face sales experience to phone selling to be more efficient.

I'm a certified NLP trainer. I have a lot of knowledge experience of direct marketing and business in general.

I'll make anyone the offer I made her. Pay for one session. If you don't feel like you got massive value from it I'll give you a 100% refund. Not many people are willing to make that offer.

My current mentor is very flexible. He helps me with whatever I need help on. Sure, if you buy into somebody selling a coaching program, especially attached to an Internet Marketing course, they are probably going to be locked into a certain approach.

But that's NOT true coaching in my opinion. That's a lot closer to a teleseminar with an element of coaching with it.

Many people spend tons of time and money...wasted...because they can't hold a mirror to themselves to see what mistakes they are making. Both in thoughts and actions. I'm speaking from personal experience here.

The John Taylor WSO is pretty expensive. $1000 for 6 weeks. You want to find someone good, who won't break the bank. Otherwise it's pretty hard to continue with it. And most of the benefit is longer term. Not from trying it for a month a stopping. At least that has been my experience as the student.

Best thing: Make sure your coach has direct experience in what you want to be able to do. In my case that is direct marketing, copywriting, and sales training.

Just throwing it out there because I had such a good time today coaching. If anyone is interested shoot me a PM.

First of all, there is one for $997 - you rounded it up, yes there is a difference.

But he also has other offers at a lower investment. I strongly suggest you look through and see if it works for you.

BUT you are making it look as if a higher price is a bad thing. That's a very misleading outlook.

Trying to find the cheapest coaching on the market is not the best strategy to move forward. You want to go for the highest quality you can get. After all, not all coaching was created equal.

Not at all what I was getting at. I agree that it's a mistake to look for a cheap coach. But many people can't afford a higher priced coach AND there are very good coaches that are not expensive.

I am paying an affordable rate to my coach/mentor that I can hopefully afford to continue with for a long time. Yet there were several others I've seen that were much more expensive.

My coach has helped me a LOT. And I didn't have to join an expensive coaching program to do it.

        That's all I was saying.

There are coaches on hire ranging from $100 to $10000. Decide your budget first and then decide in which area you would like to be coached. No coach worth his/her respect will 'come to your house to check for leaks and advice you on how to fix them'. You have to go out to a coach and seek his/her knowledge and expertise on what he is offering. They're short in supply and the demand far outstrips it.

It would be a good idea to approach a coach in your area of interest and convey what you have written in your post here. Try for a call or a chat and discuss your requirements with him/her.

As you may be knowing, you can use the search feature in the WSO section to find available coaching offers.

    Hey TyBrown,

Maybe what you need isn't a mentor, maybe what you need is a Team of IM who share the same interest as you, so that you can bounce ideas off and that will also help you get more money. I'm currently in a group of people who help out new and experienced IM get their business to the next level, so if your interested PM me with your skype details so we can have a bit of a chat to see if we fit..

    Wish you all the best
