Opinions on my new site? Not doing as expected

Hi, If anyone would like to give me some feedback on my new site I'd love it. Been open for a few days only.
What I'd like to hear is your very first impressions of things you liked and didn't like. Not sure how best to market it. It's stock market related. with the live content I'm offering I thought it would be much more viral that it is , so I'm wondering if I'm off on my ideas or launch expectations.
Experienced views would be appreciated. it's at traderrobotics dot com thanks
john

forgot to add. at first I was charging 27 per month for talking charts , but the low response caused me to rethink that and go with a free membership.
    thanks

I hope you don't take offense to this; but right off the bat I'm skeptical. I am with anyone who claims to have a program or bot that games things like the stock market, the Forex market, or anything similar.

That's besides the point though, let's talk about the site. It's very clustered and disorganized. As soon as I get in I have no idea what I am looking at, or what I should be looking at, really.

I'm assuming this landing page is supposed to serve the purpose of getting me to join your free "talking charts" membership. I didn't figure this out until the bottom of the page though, and you gave little to no reason as to why I should.

If you want to continue with this site, I would suggest a pretty thorough reorganization, and tell readers on your landing page why they should care about this product/service at all.

wow that's really good. seems like I fell right into the same pitfall that I set out to avoid when I first decided on design principles. thanks so much for your insight.

I kind of like the futuristic design, but then again, the question to ask is - would a trader like it too? Or would he be confused? I myself first thought it was some sort of Real Steel type of website, building and trading robots community. I kid you not. I am with Joe on this one - you should make it very obvious that this is a site for traders.

thank you so much, that's so valuable to be able to hear your honest impressions. I'd be an idiot not to listen - I'm already starting a new design, addressing the clarity of message and benefits right up front.
    thanks

I think it's much better. I would probably add the tag line above the header, or make it more prominent in the header. Something like "Realtime Day Trader Alerts".
But I think that posting the advantages prominently is a good move.

thanks so much, that's a good idea. I wish there was a site that was something like "Web Page reviews" where you could get community feed back on design. sort of like a test marketing campaign, or polling.
I'm thinking of putting a picture or two of a chart with alerts on the chart or maybe with profit/loss numbers on it or near it.

You could get your site reviewed on any web design forum. Just make a few screenshots of different designs. The trick though is to keep the design complimenting the message you are trying to get across.
