Should i create my own logo for my business or get one made on fiverr?

If you remotely care about the brand and image of your business I highly suggest hiring a real graphics designer. I've paid on the upscale of $150 for a good logo.

I completely agree with you. I would definitely hire a graphics designer to design your logo. This is something very important for your business and I wouldn't trust someone who only charges $5 to do this.

thats exactly what i was gonna say. if your business means anything to you, then you should get the logo designed by a professional designer. after all, you get what you pay for. you pay $5, you get a $5 logo. as simple as that.

Agree with others but, at $5, it's probably worth a try. Everyone has to start somewhere, and there could be someone really good on Fiverr who's only just started - they might be the one charging $150 in a few months time.

In the past, I have used a few logos that I had someone create for me on Fiverr... however, they weren't as "professional" as I would have liked them to be. If you can afford it, then hire a graphic designer to do it for you. You get what you pay for!

i bought logos 3 times on fiverr but tbh they always sucked.. if you are serious about ur buisness hire a pro.. otherwise u can try on fiverr , it s only 5 bucks

If you're not skilled, Fiverr or 99Designs, for sure. Branding builds trust, a high quality image (brand) and graphic design yield revenue!

I used this guy a couple of times on Fiverr. if you are interested check it out Chimpclassic will design logos, two guaranteed logo, high quality logos, professional logos, two variations of one website logo for your website for $5, only on fiverr.com - really good quality and he is very responsive. He created a logo for me but I just wanted some minor fixes and he did it really fast with no problem.

99designs, crowdspring, and such, are the neoliberal cancer on the industry. I designed logos that people couldn't believe it cost them only $500. I was a newb then. (I don't design that, anymore. Maybe for lots of money.)

Real logos should cost $1000 and up. It will properly reward the designers and bring down the level of graphic noise in our lives.

Most businesses don't even need a logo. But if someone does decide that he needs a logo (and writing the Co Name in bold italics doesn't suffice for some reason) -- get your local designer to do it and pay him well. Support starving local businesses!

Sincerely i wouldn't go with fiverr.

I know, on Fiverr is cheap, but don't underestimate the importance of a custom designed logo.

You need a professional, unique logo design that will establish your identiy and business and will be powerful in representing your company.

Hehehe I like this post!

I agree go ahead and purchase one for $5. When your company is having a bigger turnaround and you are bringing in some more money consider hiring a pro to do you a logo but for now go with a cheap $5 gig.

I've gotten decent ones put together on Fiverr, but they definitely wouldn't fly for an offline business

The fact is that designers will tell you to spend big, wheras this is obviously a distorted opinion.

Look at one of the most recognisable logos in the world- Nike's 'Swoosh' cost $35. A logo does not have to be some ultra fancy and expensive design. It just needs to be easily identifiable and link to your brand.

If you can get this done on fiverr, more power to you- though I would suggest finding someone who understands about your business and marketing in general to do it for you.

My advice on outsourcing a logo is:

1) Decide how much you can afford to spend and how important the logo is to your business.

2) Depending on budget, either use something like LogoNerds.com (they have a WSO always running) or go to 99Designs.com (more expensive and very professional).

3) You can always start cheap and upgrade later, provided that you aren't going to have to re-do a lot of work. If your logo is just going on your website header, changing it later is easy. Pick a colour scheme and go with it. Change the logo later if you need / want to.

Nothing wrong with matching your spending to your current situation.

I got mine done on Fiverr! I did some research for what I wanted and sent to the guy. It came out perfect, exactly what I had envisioned. I was considering 99Designs.com, but thought I'd try with $5 first and if I didn't get what I wanted would then try them. It was a good outcome though!

Tip: Research different designers on Fiverr and find the one that creates with the style that you like. I like minimal so that's what I looked for in their design samples.

Since it is only $5 each, order a few and you can probably get a decent one. If not, then go for the real professionals.
