Hi folks,

Blogging? Ezine article posting?

I personally felt that blogging is much more efficient than article posting
Nowadays buyer are clever, they won't just buying because of buying.

Instead, they will do simple research for the person; reputation I mean.

And, I think blog is the best way to engage with audience and potential buyer.

So, what do you think?
Feel free to share your thought.

Cheers,
Jude

P.S.: I was link to a squeeze page(previous post) that is same template as mine!! LOL!! What a small world!!

Well, when the choice is between blogging and article directory marketing like you've described, yes blogging is obviously the better option when building a reputation.

If you want to talk article syndication marketing, then you are looking at a better debate (in which I personally think syndication is better).

Agreed, but I must remind you that blogging is a very useful way to get syndicated as I'm sure you know.

@OP it's a both and approach, not one or the other.

Yep, as I've said every other time this debate came up, the two are not mutually exclusive. Anyone who thinks that the methods are meant to be used separately are foolish in my opinion.

I know dude, and I agree. I'm just saying that the OP (and many other readers) may not know this. I'm surprised people are still unclear about this subject.

So can I say before I go in to either of two, I must have a concrete plan such as (let's say blogging):-

        a) Webform must be ready (for opt-in)
        b) Prepare enough article for three months submission
        c) Social bookmark install
        d) RSS feeds install
*Please add in if you think the tools is a must for blogging.

        Thanks for sharing.

Blogging is a more efficient way to brand yourself. It allows for more personal interaction than article marketing. Article Marketing takes more time for people to recognise you over the tremendous amount of other writers.

Blogging on the other hand, allows more personal touch. Your audience get to know you more and increase the chances of buying from you.

I think blogs are a better way to brand yourself by a mile. You can add video and your own colour schemes.. You can interact much more ways such as comments on posts. Then there is the social interactions of Twitter and Facebook.

Blogging is the best of all of your options. However, it is always good to combine more than one option whether they work hand-in-hand or simultaneously and not related.

In an online world where many are just out there selling, consumers need to feel the refreshing human interaction coming from the other side and that's what blogging does. Even though they subconsciously know that your end goal is to sell them something, they would rather not have it rubbed in their face most times.

When you provide quality information, people will be willing (or begging) to subscribe on your list. Focus on building relation to your list, I mean good relation, and money will come sooner. This way you give a good reputation to yourself and they would trust and loyal to you. That was long term, isn't it?

Yep I definitely think blogs are the best way to build a brand and get people to buy from the person instead of simply buying the product. Facebook and other social networks are also huge helps to this.
