I was wondering about getting a reseller account, been positive here, since I will get more clients,

You should go with shared web hosting as its cheap and quite reliable.

    Hi Mickd,

I also do local web design and SEO. I have my own VPS that's $39 monthly and its great. Each client has their own Cpanel login, unlike a shared hosting plan which you only have one (YOUR) cpanel.

If your building websites for clients you should not be using a shared hosting plan IMO. One reason, it's probably against your hosting terms.

    Get a VPS!

I would advise against a VPS, unless you know how to manage it. Even a managed VPS still requires you to have administration skills.

Any shared or reseller style hosting will work for you. It's not against any TOS to use shared hosting with addon domains for your client sites...at least not any that I know of.

How many sites are you looking to host? you could start out with a shared plan, and then upgrade to a reseller plan in the future.

I also overlooked that you had 70 Wordpress sites. You would definitely want to look into a reseller account, but not necessarily a VPS. If those sites are running on a good, non-overloaded server and are optimized right, they'll be fine.

    Have you looked into CloudFlare?

I would look into a HostGator reseller account. They offer good service and I think they have packages easily big enough for you. If not, I would look at a VPS with another provider.
