So many hits but no sale..need suggestion

Hi,

I have launched a video software today morning.I have got more than 200 hits for my website,but sale is not good..

My product describtion

    Well I saw the post yesterday, went to the site & downloaded the trial version. I was interested in the uploading multiple videos to youtube part & not so much cared about the rest. I have an aircard so most vids take hours to upload from home. I thought this may have been the solution.

    I couldn't use the upload feature w/ the free trial so I deleted the program. Also it doesn't state how long the trial period is & the $55 price point may be kind of steep honestly for this program.

    We can download videos from youtube and metacafe as much you want.As of now we don't the specility for watermark.That will be my feature enhancement on this software.

      What market testing did you do to see if there really is a market for your program? Personally I haven't had the need to do multiple uploads from youtube. And price does seem to be something to consider.

      Maybe you should give away 50 copies to people interested in exchange for some honest feedback, after they've had a chance to use your software.

      If it works, you'll have lots of great testimonials, if not you'll know what to do to correct the problem.

    I agree with the posters that suggested more market research. Who would use this software? What "pain" are you addressing? Can people do the same thing without too much trouble using free tools?

    You should invest some money and hire a professional copywriter. Your product looks good, but the layout of your page needs some tweaking.

    Your product is supposed to solve a problem, fill a void in that niche. I see no reason why people will buy, you need to craft a nice sales letter. Provide enough reasons as to why the prospect should download or buy from you.

    Hiring a copywriter is an investment that you can recoupe, having a great product and a bad copy will not get you much sales.

    I am totally agree with you all.I have missed the marletting statergy in my sales page,will include that.As well as,most of the poeples worries abt tha cost of this product.SO am plaiing to reduct the cost to achive more sale.

      That is the wrong strategy. you can reduce it as much as you like, without a proper layout/sales letter your sales will not improve. You have to understand that when people see your product being much cheaper, they may associate the quality to be poor as well.

      Reducing your price is not the smart thing to do. Hire a good copywriter, get a smashing sales letter. Hell, you could even raise your price.

    Its your sales copy man. You need professional copy written. I know a guy that writes good strong converting copy for cheap, PM me and I'll put you in contact with him.
