My eBook

Hello everyone. I've been writing an ebook for about two weeks now, and I had a few questions. I want to put it on Amazon's Kindle, but don't exactly know what to do as far as length or price. These may seem extremely simplistic, but I really am stuck on how long to make it because there is so much I can write about (it's about getting started with computers). What's a good length for say a five dollar book or is there one, and what's a good price anyway? Also, I've never marketed a book before, so how do I go about doing that?

Thanks for any answers guys. It's just been something I've thought about quite often.

      Hey Man,

      As far as price goes, you would have to look at your competition that you will have in your kindle selling category - If there are books priced at $.99 and $2.99...then that's the price that will most likely get your the best ROI.

      So just gauge your competition to make your price. I highly suggest staying at $.99 for a couple days to a week to get the ball rolling and get those impulse buys.

      (btw, i have 9 books and I'm making over $1k/mo with my kindle books - just to let you know i have first hand experience)

        How long are your books? Like word wise. I know a normal book is around 30,000 words, but what do you suggest for a simple $2 book?
