Kindle users: Questions about text-to-speech function

One of my clients mentioned that in her car, she uses her Kindle to listen to the lessons for a course she is taking, using Kindle's text-to-speech function.

I was thinking about this afterwards, and it seemed unlikely to me that she meant she purchased the lessons on Amazon as Kindle ebooks. Rather, I'm guessing she received them from the instructor and uploaded them to her Kindle so the Kindle could read this to her as she's driving her kids around.

Three questions:

1)Does anyone else use the Kindle's text-to-speech a lot?

2)If someone gave you files formatted for Kindle, would it be a simple thing to upload them to your Kindle so it could read them to you?

3)Given the increasing popularity of Kindle, do you think it would it be worthwhile to offer PDF infoproducts in Kindle format in addition to the PDF format (but not sold on Amazon)? (Either in addition to the PDF or available upon request.)

Thanks,
Marcia Yudkin

I don't know for other but when you have a kindle book you just need to activate the kindle reading so that it can read the book... and turn the page itself.
In my Kindle it's easy to read and to stop reading.

Some Kindle are able to read all books. The only problem is the language. My kindle always read the book in english.

So, I just format the book and put it in the kindle and begin to read it. It is the same if you buy the book from Amazon. Just ask the kindle to read it.
