Is INTERNET MARKETING going to end?

Hi Warriors,

World and tech is growing and improving every day. In old days people use to have big box like pc and then they moved to laptop.. Untill that everything is ok, but now mobile, iphones are in increasing demand and that day is not too away when laptop will start be counted as an old machine.

That will be like a good news for busy lifestyle, but what will happen to blogging industry? How will we sell those affiliate products & earn from adsense sites??

how many years are safe for blogging and im?

Seems you are king, what do you care if internet marketing dies? Otherwise, can i have your stuff?

Serious answer, don't worry, money are moving through the desktops, nobody (i round small percentages to 0, thats the amount of of trade through mobile devices) throws money away buying stuff on a 3.5 inch screen while having a beer.

Nothing really dies it just fades away as the old saying goes,
But, there is a change in the wind these days, it started around December of 2011 and it is a process that is even now occurring in small ways.

The internet is becoming a source of information that is trusted more than traditional media, you can often learn of important news stories online, up to two days before you even see it appear on the regular media outlets, (and yes sometimes the information you see online is not accurate) but over all, I think its as trustworthy as anything you see on the regular media considering how blatantly they distort facts these days.

    The problem,

Traditionally the Media have had an "iron fist" control over everything that people see on TV or hear on the Radio, a few large companies controlled everything that everyone could see or hear, it was expensive, it cost a of money to get a TV commercial produced and shown.

They made Billions of dollars over the years.

Things have changed, now you can for a few bucks produce and distribute your commercial on many different media outlets all on line.

The media do not like this, because they are not in charge of the Internet they do not get to "Fix" the prices, they do not get to decide which advertisements are approved, they do not get to stop someone from giving an opinion when they do not agree with that opinion.

In short the Internet is the future and large corporations like the Media want to control it, they plan on doing this by paying off American Congress men and women, with funds, gifts or even alleged bribes,

    Google CISPA,

You see in order for the Media to take over the internet and profit like they did with TV and Radio, they have to control it, they have to prevent marketers from making money with affiliate programs, simply because if anyone can run an affiliate program and make money they will not have control over the market.

This is why they need CISPA, so they can tear down anyone who dares to compete.

This is something that you should be very aware of, yet for the most part, many of us are sitting in front of our computers blissfully ignorant of what is going on in the real world.

Affiliate marketing is being slowly killed off bit by bit piece by piece, which means that if your going to remain a part of the process of making money online you have to have something that "they" cannot control, you have to have an affiliate program they do not control,

This is what will make the difference between those that make money online in the future and those that find themselves slaving away at the computer for hours in exchange for a few pennies from time to time.

    When will this happen, soon...

    Trust me,
    internet marketing is
not going to die out soon.

    Do you know how many
    people are internet marketing?
I don't have the exact numbers,
but it is safe to assume less than
    5% of world population.

    In fact,
    half the population in asian
    countries have yet to even
buy or use the internet fully.

    There is still tons of
    potential over there!

    So, quit worrying,
and focus on making more money!

Good luck all the way !

Internet may evolve and get better and better and may be some day it may not be called "Internet", but still this strategy of connecting people/knowledge/resources over a huge network will never die. This will only grow better over time!

If for the sake of argument, let us say it is going to die any sooner, we all would die well before that. LOL!!! Let us not worry and reap the rewards from this excellent medium!

I think people on here got about 2-3 years before there business of hawking ebooks becomes a thing of the past. Nobody is going to want to read 5 pages of copywriting on a 6 inch cell phone screen.

Cell phones are the new computers. Soon you will have more computing power in a cell phone than your desktop. Once that happens people won't need desktops anymore. You plug your cell phone into your TV and thats your computer. It's going to change how things are marketed to people.

No way! If you suspect this because of the recent Google updates which has affected many sites then let me tell you it is something which has been clear during the first panda update itself. Marketing is field which can never end, no matter its on the field or on web. Desktops to LCDs and to Laptops are related to technology improvement, marketing is all about strategy which is something that needs to improve and it will be time to time.

If products and services will be there and terms like buying will exist no chance marketing or Internet Marketing will die.

Marketing will always be there as long as we sell & buy.

Presently, the internet is the fastest growing marketing medium... tomorrow it might be THE medium. Far into the future it might itself evolve into something else.

The thing to remember is - it is marketing that is at the core... the medium is just the delivery vehicle or the connector.

Having said that, the way we market on the internet will surely change.... but internet marketing per se will not.

As far as marketing on the internet is concerned, we have just scratched the surface. But that is not to say mobile isn't going to be big.

Nevertheless, it isn't again PC or mobile (media vehicles), it is about the medium (digital) and above all it is about marketing [exchange of info, ideas, benefits, value)... so to speak.

Centuries from now there might be different medium & media vehicles altogether... but marketing as a human enterprise would still be the same.

However, for the foreseeable future the internet is here to stay, and so is internet marketing

IM will keep evolving, but won't end anytime soon. IM applies just as much to mobile phones as it does to desktop PC's, and will apply in the same way to whatever new technology comes along, even when it plugs directly into your Brain

The internet as a concept is so valuable, that while delivery technology will keep evolving, the basic concept is not going to suddenly dissapear, because it's so basic and so valuable "making information available more easily". An average human is never going to say that they don't want to know anything about anything, so efficient information delivery is not going to end any time soon, and along with that, certain types of advertising is not going to dissapear either, or though it might become a lot more subtle, and change in form.

Some trends in IM are already over in some areas, for example hype in physical products now makes LESS money than honesty (as one can find out by writing really good, informative, honest Amazon product reports).

So it will keep evolving, but IM is not going to dissapear any time soon.

That will be like a good news for busy lifestyle, but what will happen to blogging industry? How will we sell those affiliate products & earn from adsense sites??

how many years are safe for blogging and im?
This is like asking how long direct mail marketing will last when the post office first starting delivering mail.....It is a pointless question.

Internet Marketing will die the day the internet does.

Face it even big business uses it. OK they dress it up and give it a pretty face so noone can see its ugly face I mean god forbid it could be... Internet Marketing.

I just worked in 2012 on a project for a major international jewelry company using Internet Marketing. We called Stratigic Marketing with Social Media and Online structures or Mass Customer Contact Acceleration System... you know Marketing Professional love acronyms. We got over 100,000 views for a video on YouTube using a very well known German model from a Top Model show and over 100,000 clicks on Facebook and about that many Likes. It all went well and they made millions. Here comes the kicker...guess where I got most of my ideas, concepts, plugins and software??? WarriorForum.

The definition of Internet Marketing is using the Internet as a platform to sell, advertise or market a product or service. That would include Google, YouTube, MicroSoft, Apple, Ebay, Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and about any other national or international company out there doing big business.

So is Internet Marketing in danger?..... look at the names above and answer the question for yourself.... my opinion... I don`t think so ;-)

Don't think of yourself as an internet marketer. Think of yourself as a marketer who uses the internet, because that's what you are. That mindset opens up new possibilities and can relieve "sky is falling" stress .

The real question is, have you asked yourself this for every venture that you've been involved in? I ask this because there are many people out there who are always worried about the well running dry or missing the train.

The fact that you even posted this thread means that you think about it often. Snap out of it and focus on how much success you can achieve online.

    Cheers to your online success!
