How NOT to Depend on Google and still Make Money?

I would be intrigued to hear about this "Hard work" you did in SEO that was penalised by Google.

Google have not created havoc, they have simply increased their standards, mainly by removing people that rank purely by spamming links from blog networks. And using a blog network isn't hard work.

Don't give up on SEO just because there are hundreds of people claiming its dying due to the Panda update, it is a load of nonsense. You need quality content and quality links.

As for your question i would also recommend list-building, i am afraid i cannot give much advice on this however as i am still learning the basics of product creation and list building myself.

When you're starting out from scratch the FASTEST way to build your own list (prospect and buyers lists) is to buy advertising.

You can also syndicate your content. Do an advanced search under "article syndication" and you'll find a dearth of information on the topic.

You can also join private blog networks (or create your own), not all of them were hit hard from the latest Google updates (in fact, some of them are thriving).

You can also publish your own reports and e-books on other platforms such as Kindle, Nook, Createspace, etc. There are a ton of ways to get traffic without having to rely on Google.

You don't have to be disappointed. SEO isn't dead, it still works if you do it right.

but until you are ready to do SEO, there are other methods you can try. You have got lots of ways to drive traffic to your squeeze pages... Here are just a few...

1. Make use of the viral aspect of facebook, twitter & Google+, Pinterest type sites to get visitors.
2. Make use of forum signatures to get visitors to your squeeze page.
3. Make posts on high traffic blogs that allow guest posts
4. Comment on high traffic blogs, remember to include your link in the link box (no spam)
5. Create content rich videos and direct them to your squeeze page at begening & end
6. Post valuable articles to article directories
7. Bookmark your squeeze page on social bookmarking sites
8. Turn your content rich articles to PDF files and share it on file sharing sites (remember to always point to your squeeze page inside the PDF file)
9. Create your articles to audios and publish in podcast sites with call to action to visit squeeze page
10. Join highly active Ning groups in your niche, put your website in your profile and be active, share content, post videos, photos...

That's just a handful for you to implement for the next few months... After you finish, come again and I'll give you 10 more for the next few months...

The answer is pretty simple, you should not just build links, instead you should focus in building relations and at the same time links. You might ask how but it's pretty simple. You just need to comment on the top blogs of your niche (not just comments for the links) and contribute to the discussion by sharing your knowledge in the topic, comment only when you have something to say and can help others.

By doing this regularly you will start building relations with the bloggers and their readers and you will get consistent targeted traffic and of course backlinks that will help you rank better.

Then you can ask the bloggers to let you guest post on their blog and by guest posting regularly you will establish yourself as an expert on your field, in that way you will get targeted traffic, boost your reputation and as a result it will be easier to sell your products and you will get the best posible natural backlinks.

This is by far the best and in reality the fastest way to stop depending on google for traffic and at the same time get even more traffic from google...

Another way is to help forum members by answer their questions and whenever is posible and it really helps the discussion to add a link to something that will actually help the members...
