Where's the best place to sell unwanted domain names ?

Hello All,

I have quite a few domain names registered which I want to sell - they've all got reasonable search volumes but I don't have the time to develop them.
Where's the best place to sell these ?

Thanks in advance

Is there any such option to sell the domain. If you know well please give me some information by status.

      Hi Melanie,

Thanks for your reply - I thought Flippa was only for actual websites - can you sell just a name ?

      Cheers

        It's for domains, too.

Any good ones in the weight loss/nutrition area?

          Thanks a lot - I'll have a look .

Probably not quite in your niche , but I do own how-to-make-bread.co.uk which has 27k exact global searches per month and 74k global phrase searches - but bread makes you fat, right ?

I'm into branding big sites and authority domains, so I don't really go for the hyphenated ones.

Anyway, have a search for the term 'healthy bread' and you might just find I have that aspect covered.

Andrew - I'm not quite sure what you mean - are you looking to buy domain names or are you, like me, trying to find the best place to sell them ?

Flippa's not the best place for domains. Sedo, Afternic, Godaddy Auctions are better places to put domains for sale. You can also do a listing here in Complete Sites for Sale on WF. You can do domains only there.

    Selling to end-users:
    - Sedo.com - the most popular. Free to list, has the biggest reach.
    - Afternic.com - small membership fee, free to list, higher quality buyers.
    - GoDaddy Auctions.

Selling wholesale to resellers and domainers:
    - NamePros.com
    - DnForum.com

If you have very appealing, quality domains to sell, then it may be worth paying for a listing on Flippa.com.

Godaddy Auctions and Sedo are probably the best for selling domains.

depending on how much time you have on those domains, you might try a JV with a developer and split the profits, that way if there is value you can make some cash and let another developer do the heavy lifting.
