What is Google Affiliate Network and how can it help me?

I m posting this Ques here as I didnt understood most part of it in other websites of google search...

So can anybody tell what is it and is it of any good for me?

    It is just like CJ and ShareASale. They have a list of companies and you can promote their physical products.

    Sign up to be approved by each company to get your affiliate link and begin promoting offers.

      I want to do this too. Amazon is not available in my state.
      I wanted Barnes&Noble and got it, but they won't let me sell specific books.
      I think if I listed a specific book related to my niche site I could get some commissions from selling that.

    Google Affiliate Network (GAN) is just like the other affiliate networks out there: CJ, Clickbank, Shareasale, etc.

    You go the link, register, and pick various companies you want to promote products for - very simple. Keep in mind, however, that some of the merchants within the network won't let you be an affiliate until you have a website already.
