Got thousand likes for fan page.

Recently i bought thousand likes for my facebook fanpage. The audience was not targeted so my money gone for no good. I am just confused, how do these people manage to give soo many likes. The guy gave my thousand likes in just three days. Is it a script or something or what ??
Do any one know?
#fan #likes #page #thousand

Most likely they are fake accounts or bots. I would just stick with a White-Hat method. Sure its gunna take time to build up. But in the long run you know they are real people.

I would much rather have 10 targeted Likes then a 1000 that you dont even know exist.
On the other hand it still may help you. Since people are trendy and see you have a crapload of likes they might jump on the wagon just because it seems popular.

So what you mean is just be regular and keep posting good stuff. By the way, The guy guaranteed, that they are not fake accounts or bots.

Well if they are "guaranteed", then thats great but just because they say guaranteed dose not mean they are. Did you get these from "fiverr"?

Also you said you didnt have much luck with these fan page likes? So I dont know but it seems like that's the proof right there.

Yeah see right there, I hate to say it but you got tricked. Just a lesson of many to learn! Hey we all fail somewhat/somewhere before we succeed!

I am not saying you are a sucker or anything. In fact use this as motivation to work harder! Keep positive and everything will fall into place!

You have leant nil, nada and zip, you can buy / add as many fake likes as you want, just make sure your playing your favorite Walt Disney cartoon while you do it because, you and Walt are both living in a fantasy land.

A crap arse site with xyz fake likes stands out like a baboons backside.

I disagree. Like I said earlier, it works great if you're creating a site for an offline business. Having a few likes showing on a Facebook badge places somewhere visible on their site adds some instant credibility.

But, overall, I wouldn't recommend buying likes and expecting it to lead to sales or signups. It's probably not the best course to travel.

Sorry, but my clients who are all offline businesses for the most part, would be insulted and really upset if I bought them fake likes from ghost accounts. It doesn't add instant credibility.

If I see a fan page with 1,000 likes, and no engagement, that means something is REALLY wrong with the business.

It's all about social engagement, not social exploitation of made up accounts.

I could start a new fan page and have hundreds of LEGIT likes in a few weeks that will not only like the page, but share my posts and actually engage, socially instead of being dead weight.

It's like link building... people buy a few hundred links, but it doesn't help you. Quality is what matters in EVERYTHING that is done, whether online or offline. If you provide quality and value you will succeed. If you don't.. time is ticking.

I certainly understand where you're coming from and I'm sorry if I sounded like I was trying to start an argument. Haha.

I suppose there are lots of differences between varying offline industries. For example, I have a client in the pest control service industry and no matter what type of social engagement I try for, it just never makes any difference.

People see a pest animal, then they stick a phrase into Google and call the number on the first or second website that comes up. 90% of his business is one time service customers that have no interest in following him on Facebook.

But, having a Facebook badge showing that his business has a few Facebook likes seems to help customers think that the company is credible and decide to call the number of my client's site and not the next result in Google. They don't know that the likes are purchased.

Noah, You make an excellent point with your reference to your pest control client. I think it shows that different clients do indeed need to be handled differently. No magic pill for doing them all the same!

I see you made mention of socialadr.com I just received a link from a friend for this service today. Would you say it is a good service and give it the green light?

William, as long as you're using it with the right expectations, then yes I totally give it the green light. No doubt.

But, use it in the correct context. It might not make you explode up to the top of the SERPs, but it is (in my opinion) the best service of this kind. Because other members actually have active accounts and have to manually share your content, and you have to do the same.

I agree with Twentytwo. I go with Quality likes than Fakes. If it is real fan they will bring in some more friends to the network and in that way the numbers will increase but in a period of time. Now Fakes are on the rise. Not only in face book but in all areas. People are paying some companies to do such things. Like reviews etc.

I guess it's good initially to form "social proof" that way, if you put up a targeted ad then ppl can see that you already have quite a bit of likes.

In terms of conversions, don't expect anything from those initial likes.

So what I mean is, they are not completely useless in a sense.

I ran a legitimate facebook ad for 1 month and managed to get 108 likes, not earth shattering but a fair amount I thought. It made no difference to my SE placement and had little effect on website traffic. Not conclusive but i'm not entirely sure how much sway it holds within SEO anyway

Can I also throw out that there are a lot of services that might be called 'like exchanges' where someone can build up a whole bunch of credits by liking the pages of other members. Those credits can then be spent to 'purchase' likes from other members.

Well, when I create a website for an offline client, I almost always purchase some likes or shares on a few different social platforms. Then, I display the badge on the client's site.

You're exactly right - it gives a good impression. Now, when someone visits that website, they'll see that they have a few hundred likes on Facebook. It makes them look more legitimate.

It's basically exactly what I described. You share other members' content and they will share your in return.

You might want to look at the site for a more detailed explanation.

Social signals and metrics are not about the amount of likes you have. It is about how engaged your website is. 1,000 likes is possibly going to HURT you more than help, because then you have a very low engaging offer, website, fan page, etc.

Purchasing shares, is probably the better way to go if you were to do anything like that.

never go for such likes as they wont do you any good, Always use keywords in your page name and you will get more fans.

I started one fan page 4 months ago based on keywords and got 1200 real fans, Now those fans then joined my dating site from that page and have brought me thousands in revenue.

I do agree with most of you on negative and positive aspect of adding Facebook Likes, and twitter Followers. By doing so you need to be going in to it with a certain expectation. If you are looking to get any social engagement then chances are you will get absolutely none. However, if you are looking for a perception of social engagement then maybe this service is for you. People that know the difference will notice it right away, but most people will not. If you are just starting out and need to make it look like you are socially engaged and active then there is nothing wrong with it, just don't expect much from it in return. Like bots can only serve one purpose to me. That is, they can make you seem more popular and can entice real people to join you.

To be real honest, you got conned. However, that doesn't mean you still can't use it somewhat to your advantage. Put your fan page on a section of the home page of your money site and show the number of likes. When real people see so many likes, they'll jump and like as well. Then you can think about converting those real people later on.

I would recommend against putting up Facebook Ads. As Wired's article showed, a huge amount of the clicks you get are competitors trying to bankrupt you. I bought likes from BuyFBLikes and from there put up polls and interesting photos and stories on my page and it grew quickly.

It is not so hard, there are many people that "SELL" such fans. I tried this once and managed to reach 40,000 in 1 week, but ... it was USELESS!!! Yeah, I wasted $45.00 but I got only 10-15 likes for each post... 10-15 likes could be reached with a fan page with 1000 fans easy! The only thing I could do was to SELL it (for $10.00)

So, this type of fans... is a WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!

I have used youlikehits.com for twitter. I don't think it's compatible for Facebook.

The people are real people on YLH.

Can be done with a script, outsourced for cheap, fake accounts, the possibilities are next to endless...

This type of traffic is never targeted or useful for anything other than social credibility or SEO.

Over the past year and a half to two years I've built a base of just under 1100 fans, all very targeted. When I first started I ran a few campaigns giving away my free 5 day vocal training course in exchange for liking the page. I targeted my niche with the ad so I got lots of Christian and Gospel singers.

As you get above 500 it starts to kinda grow on it's own, although slowly. Now, ever so often when I post a blog I think will be of particular interest to my niche I'll simply promote it to my current following for $5.00 . It gets the post seen by 70-80 percent of my fan base so my likes go up for that particular post. That usually generates more likes from THEIR friends. So sometimes I can get as few as 5 or 6, or as many as 20-30, all targeted.
Because of how FB operates you'll seldom reach more than a small percentage of your fans with the average post at a random time. But if you do some extra research on the kinds of posts your fans like the most and the best times to post, you'll see the likes go up.

For example I'm a blogger but blog posts get the smallest response of anything I post; unless I promote the post, then the opposite happens and I'll get 20 likes and new likes from their friends.

During the week leading up to Thanksgiving I decided to post one personal story a day with pictures. Without any promoting at all the first one got over 30 likes. The second one got almost 35. Both generated 5 or 6 new likes just from the activity.

I've been using a free service from a company called recommend.ly which has been really great with helping me understand when and what to post for my specific market. They send me an e-mail every day with a calendar that tells me exactly what time to post and what kind of post it should be. I saw engagement go up when I started using them. They have paid services, but this is actually free.

When you sign up they'll scan your page's activity and give you information about the best times and types of post to make based on past activity on your page, plus a lot more. Very cool little service.

I'm still figuring out the monitization part of it, but I've managed to have better than average engagement and steady growth just from doing this stuff.
