We've seen truckloads of information and products that teach the art of list building and generally how to build a list, and a lot of it is pretty good.

However, what I'm looking for goes beyond that. I already have 1000's on my list (hehe, you may even be on it) but I want to refine my management skills.

Particularly what I am looking for is something that teaches how to provide my precious list with the utmost value and friendship. I'm not as concerned with turning a profit (although money is ultimately the reason behind any list) rather I want to keep them engaged and make being on my list a highly valued and sought after occasion.

Let's go ahead and forget about the cheesy overnight 2 page ebooks here. I want to learn how to do it from someone who is doing it. A course that teaches how a real business owner can truly take his list to the next level.

Any suggestions are welcomed, but I'd love to see some responses from more of the more experienced warriors...should I even allude as to why?

    I, myself, noticed that there was a huge gap in the market on this topic.

    You get list-building courses that teach you how to build a list but none really teach you what to do once you've got one.

    That's why i'm in the process of creating a whole list-building and email marketing business in a box course.

    Which will be availiabe as a WSO, not got a clue when thought. Will probably take me a while to finish.
  • Did you build yourself or did you bought that 1000 list from somewhere else, if you have build it by yourself than you have to promote to them related products by giving value.. I hope this helps..
  • Good post here Jeremy and I agree... there is a gaping hole here. I'll give you some insight as to how my Dad and I manage our list of 180,000+ Gardeners.

    We provide valuable content on a regular basis. Period.

    They joined our list looking for information... not looking for deals, offers, sales, etc. Of course we include a 4-5 line ad in each newsletter that generally produces a few thousand dollars in sales.

    But that's not the reason for contacting them and THEY know that. If the sole reason for sending an email is to promote, the life of your list will be short-lived.
  • im using a particular model of email marketing which is focused on long term growth and my customers staying with me

    i decided to try something a little different and its working great

    main thing is you send them good content and useful tips

    i want to keep my customers for the long term not burning my lists out after a few months like most people do
