Well you are trying for some very competitive keywords so it's going to take alot of work. How long has your site been up?

Hi Lavinia, welcome to the WF

      https://adwords.google.com/o/Targeti...AS#search.none

Check hour KW numbers using this tool ^^^

It's better if you have a Google account, then you have complete versatility within the platform.

Check to for long-tail KW's (keyphrases); 3 or more words - and minimum of 800 searches per month? Only 1 or 2 KW's usually proves too competitive, and you are in quite a popular niche.

If you are unsure about how to get the most from this tool, try these vids... google keyword tool tutorial - YouTube.

I visited your site. My tool bar reports you have a PR of 2. It will take some time for your links to get indexed by the search engines.

Your sliders are pretty, but they are not linked images. With your artistic qualities I would combine the slider images with a call to action text.

I would also ramp up on your twitter followers. On twitter do a search either targeting potential customers, or something related to your niche and follow the heck out of them. Make sure your profile boasters your service. This is the first thing they see. I believe the maximum people you can follow per day is around 800. My brother and I started doing this and we try to follow 500 a day.

I browsed your shop a little bit, and here's my five cents:

    1. Try to change the font on the header, navbar and home page descriptions. It's hard to read, and it will put people off.

    2. As far as I could see, your products don't have descriptions. Descriptions are CRUCIAL to get organic traffic from Google and all your other endeavors might be a waste of time unless you start ranking in Google and getting a high number of targeted traffic.

Here's a website you may want to copy in the way their navigation is easy to read and every one of their products has at least a hundred word description so that Google picks that product up Professional Supplies for Nail Technicians | Nail Art Products

    Regards,

    Robby

      Hi OP,

First of all I would like to commend you on your diligent efforts to promote your site. Seriously. That is a ton of work. Good for you!

This is the 4th time today that I'm writing about this, so forgive the brevity, but my strategy would be simple. I would research the top 20 - 50 longtail keywords per product/category/keyword with search volume UNDER 800 and then write an optimized article/post for each.

If you are willing to put in the time (seems like you are), and you wrote multiple articles daily that targeted low/no competition KW with relatively small search volume, you will get results with little to no SEO.

That is what Google is actually for. To match relevant search terms to the best site/page. I guarantee you can find hundreds and probably thousands of KW that have low volume and low/no competition. Target these = traffic.

Put social share buttons on your pages and posts and let others do the social promotion for you.

For the most part in this case it's the product descriptions that would do the trick of pulling in organic traffic.

        I agree.
It all depends on how much work you want to put in and it sound like you have no problem working so that is great.

I would go for the lower competition and lower search terms, especially if you are just starting out.

I would rather have 40 posts targeting 40 keywords that have somewhere between 500 to 800 exact match searches every month and have some traffic coming in, than writing 40 posts for competitive keywords and have no traffic coming in.

To many IM'ers get this wrong, they all want the high competition "sexy" keywords. Not gonna happen for the most part. Go for words you know you can rank for, use good on page SEO and all of that traffic adds up. It could even add up to be more than the tougher keyword you were trying to get collectively.

Keep working hard, that is the most important thing.

Keep doing the same, and you'll be there in no time. Just know that the longer your site is, the more chances of you getting rank at the top page of google (assuming you're not using any blackhat strategy) Try to add more unique and informative articles into your blog section. By the way, you look gorgeous
