I'm starting to write PLR articles to sell. I've seen a few sites where people sell their articles and I was wondering what is the most popular/functional way to do this? Do I use wordpress with a particular theme or plug in or what do most people do?

Any advice is appreciated.

Thank you

I've seen e-junkie more than anything else. It is really easy to use and you can have affiliates promote your PLR

But as for the setup- a good Wordpress theme can do the trick

My site is set up with e-junkie. All the article packs are categorized, so a shopper can view a specific category or use the search box to find what they are looking for.

I agree - a Wordpress site with a cart is the best way to go. Some of the most popular carts are DLGuard, e-Junkie, 1ShoppingCart, Amember. The latter doesn't have as much of a true "cart" feel as the others do. Also you could use Warrior Plus/ JV Zoo for WSOs but for use as a shopping cart they are not the most user friendly as your customer would need to buy each pack individually.

I did a lot of research into shopping carts before I set up shop. Definitely go for Wordpress as the base. You own and manage all the content and it's easy. I ended up having someone install and design a Genesis theme for me since I'm not very techy and I knew I'd waste too much time on it.

As for shopping carts, I use DLGuard for the cart and Jrox JAM for my affiliate program. I loved Premium Web Cart, which I think Ruth uses (?), but I didn't feel comfortable paying a monthly fee before I was earning a decent amount. Amember has the benefit of being able to add in a membership version at some point and people can also go back and find their purchases if they can't locate them on the computer. However, as a user it annoys me to have to search for the product I want in a long list of products once you're in their "cart". I haven't used JVzoo, but it's also kind of an awkward layout for finding things once your there and the affiliate set up is even worse. No experience with ejunkie or 1shopping cart except to say that 1shoppingcart is also expensive.

By the way, if you use DLGuard let them set it up for you. The owner, Sam, also has excellent and fast customer service. Very responsive and helped me figure out ways to customize my cart so that people shop on my site and only go to the cart to checkout. And they can return to the site from the cart to continue shopping. That was a big deal for me and with some of the others you can't do that.

Thanks for all the tips. I'll look into them all.

One more question though. I see that having affiliates sell my articles seems to be popular. How do I find people who want to do that?

When you set up your affiliate program, make sure there is a link to it on your home page so people can easily sign up if they want to. After that, it is a matter of marketing yourself. The more you post in the WF with a link to your store in your signature and offer WSOs, the more you will become known.

I also find that having some free PLR to giveaway and testimonials on your site is a good way to gain affiliates. Many people will want to see that you can produce quality work before they promote your products.

Yep, I also need to know how to built this kind of site.. I mean I plan on making one site that people can come and visit my site, then they will browse all my digital product, once they like they can buy it straight away, and redirect to payment, then once making payment is done, the item will be delivered automatically and instantly to them..

My question, how to do them, any script, any plugin? Someone please enlighten me..

    Thanks
