What's good conversion %?

I am starting to rank well for different keywords, I'm curious as to whats a good conversion rate percentage for people that visit my website?

Note: This is a product review affiliate site.

So for example, if I get 100 visitors for a specific product review, how many should I convert? 1? 2?

I want to get an idea if my review page sucks ass or not ha.

It really all depends on the product that you are selling and the niche. What kind of affiliate review? How much does it cost? How targeted is the traffic?

A ton of things can influence this. My advice would be to split test. Get enough data, make a small change and see which way it moves.

What you are asking here is very relative , IMO. The result (conversion) depends on what niche you are in, how do you sell these products, the expense to get those products etc. For example, if you are selling 1-5bucks product, 100 visits and just 1-2 conversion => this sounds really fishy and strange.

Hope you got what I mean here

Here are some useful CTR averages:
    -Bing 2.8%
    -Google 2.5%
Whether you convert the traffic into sales or not will depend on the usual variables, I suppose.
I agree with Calvin. If you are are only getting 1 or 2 conversions per 100 on a low cost product, you may have to rework a few things Good luck!

I've been selling low-cost PDF products (how-to guides) for 10 years, and the conversion rate has been astonishingly consistent: 1% - 2%. Doesn't seem to make much difference how or where I market the product - the conversion rate stays the same.

These products are anywhere from $40 to $100+

Some of them are free trial offers too though.

The traffic are from people who are looking for product reviews.

Usually you can convert 0.5-2%. You may even get lower or even higher numbers.

For product reviews, you will be surprised to know that it can even be as high as 90% because these people already have in their mind that they want to buy this particular product and are willing to open their wallets to get it.

Here's a couple screenshots of performance of a couple of my affiliates - just goes to show how CR can vary depending on how targeted their traffic is!

In my opinion, generally, 1% to 1.5% conversion is normal.
Somehow, we got to make sure that the traffic is targeted (maybe based on keywords).

I agree with @RyanLB to do a split test.

as mentioned, it's all relative. a lower price should come with a higher conversion rate and a product selling for $1000 will have a much lower conversion rate.

As far a product review, you should be much higher than 1-2%

From a copywriter's standpoint if a letter is doing 2-3% then
it's acceptable. If you doing over 5% then you are doing
    great!

But a better number is the ROI for the letter rather than
just the conversion numbers. 0.5% conversion on a
$2,000 product is heavenly. For a $10 product, this is
    nothing to shout about.
