You are asking how to create a successful business.

I would recommend reading more business books, reading the forum and developing a business plan.

After you did that come back and ask more specific questions so people can help you better.

Building a business, that is a start to be sure. Too many IMers forget it is a business.
I have two tips to offer right off the top of my head. 1- Make it repeatable. 2- Do not
reinvent the wheel. Ray Croc is a good study to read- there are many books-

His claim to fame is owning real estate. He sold milk shake mixers and before that a long
line of failures. He failed forward. Then he met two guys because they wanted his milk
shake mixers. They where the McDonald brothers. Ray partnered up with them and we
all know about McDonald’s to this day. Thing is the three would part and Ray would
keep the name. He did this based on having capital from owning real estate of the places
he built. You see the McDonald brothers wanted higher quality and Ray wanted simple
and repeatable.- look at McDonald’s today, food is really not that good and they are a
multi billion dollar business- making something you might do better in your kitchen. A
business model will help you succeed. The Ray Croc story is a good study if this is what
    you want.

There is so much information overload on this forum it can also be dangerous for someone looking to start a new business. The best thing to do is to find a business plan you like (look at a few in the WSO section or other places...stay away from the "get rich quick" things) and stick with it for a year.

Once you've stuck with something for a year, you really will start to see a business start to emerge. That's not to say nothing will happen before then but don't expect success overnight. That's the biggest danger I see of people who look to build businesses online.

Here's a foolproof plan (worked for me and loads of others):

    1. Choose a topic you can write the hell out for the next 2 - 3 years at least.

    2. Start a blog which is the most common personal website format these days.

    3. Publish regular high-value articles on your blog.

    4. Create useful instructional or motivational videos and publish them on YouTube.

    5. When your blog starts getting a decent amount of traffic in about a year or so, start promoting related info products or create your own info product.

This is hard work, and I believe there are no shortcuts. Overnight success if rare and you have to be the best buddies with an authority in your niche to pull it off.

    That's my five cents.

    Regards,

    Robby

Build ASSETS- an email list, quality backlinks to a website, etc.

Only invest in tools and information products to help your chosen business model.

Focus on one thing until it becomes profitable.

Obviously, your not going to get the answer in a post. All these things are pieces of the puzzle. I would study information marketing specifically, as opposed to other types of marketing. They are very different. I would study someone like Eben Pagan's course Guru Blueprint. He has had success in multiple niche markets and is good at teaching what you need to do to get the job done.

Then I would sign up for a few well-known successful info marketers lists to see exactly how and what they do.

I would pick a niche market that I new about or could learn about. Focus on finding the "starving crowd" who desperately want the information. Figure out what they want, then give them that.

That's the opposite of how many approach it. Often times people get really attached to their product idea first. That's backwards.

Ultimately, info marketing is driven by effective direct marketing strategy and fueled by great copy. So that's where your focus needs to be. If you are great at product development, then you need to find someone to partner with to do the marketing stuff.

Thanks man. Apart from Eban, isn't there gurus on the subject.

I don't know any whom I could follow in this area and build my information marketing business.

I will like to read more ebooks from the giants in the industry.

Thank you to everyone who have contributed to this thread. Honestly, I had given up on the thread when I noticed that people didn't comment.

Thanks once again. Incase someone think that I may become a competitor here at WF, its far from it. I only need the help to start my business, serving people in my country which is less competitive for me. So, kindly share what you know.
