Article marketing services recommendation

I was using Article Demon and found it to be very time consuming. I have only 2 hours a day to work. Writing, videos, ebooks, podcast, blog commenting and social networking take up most of that time. I tried a VA and that was a bust. I thought maybe a service would be wise, I'm nervous about being scammed so a recommendation is appreciated. I am not opposed to looking at a simpler software ap for this task.

Oh, another question on article marketing. I was spinning, being careful it made sense and used those articles for the top directories to help with backlinks and traffic. Is this still a good strategy? Just want to stay on top of good strategies. Thanks.

It has nothing to do with article marketing, anyway. That's for article directory marketing.

No, a very poor strategy indeed.

    For two main reasons.

First, there's no benefit in trying to use article directories for backlinks or traffic, and that isn't what they're there for, and never has been. Fully explained here and here.

Secondly, spinning has no benefits over not spinning. Explained pretty fully here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post6175533

Avoiding mass submission to article directories, avoiding trying to use directories for their own backlinks and/or their own traffic, and avoiding spinning are all really good strategies - because those activities are all time-consuming and without benefits.

First, thank you for the wealth of information! Very helpful. Your post and links have turned everything that I have known, upside down. I'll be reading further as there is a ton of information there.

So if article marketing is dead and the Penguin update has site owners interested in diversification then what direction would be wise to generate traffic? I am still interested in getting backlinks and understand that social bookmarking is still a safe choice.
