Is this possible?

I get a small but growing number of US traffic on my .com website.

Yes, amazon in the US accepts international affiliates.

Unfortunately, amazon.com does not transfer money to non-US bank accounts. So you will probably have to settle for cheques. For international affiliates, there is no administration fees for the cheques.

    Good Luck!

Or you can take a trip to the U.S. and open a U.S. bank account that comes with a debit card and from there you can receive bank deposits to your U.S. bank and withdraw the money in the U.K. using your debit card

Don't you have to be a resident in the US?

Yes, I'm a UK based amazon affiliate and unfortunately the previous post is correct in that you have to wait for a cheque to hit your doormat (once you hit the minimum earnings level of course)

All true......the cheques are a bit of a pain and be aware that most UK banks will charge around £10-£15 to deposit a dollar cheque and it wont clear for 6-8 weeks.

Despite the £10-£15 charges for cheques, it's still much better in my opinion to be an Amazon.com rather than an Amazon.co.uk affiliate, even if you are living in the UK.

From what I understand, Amazon.co.uk has a commission cap of £7. This really sucks if you sell high ticket items. Amazon.com has no such restriction.

Here's a useful WF thread on this: Amazon commission UK - Sell £1,000 product - earn £7 - Not cool!

Yes, but you have to register as an affiliate with Amazon.com separately. Amazon's websites are all separate companies. Being an affiliate of Amazon.co.uk will not earn you any commissions on sales from Amazon.com.

If combining affiliate links from Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com on one website, you'll also need a way either for visitors to click on the correct link according to their locations, or software which recognises their location from their IP number and forwards them automatically to the right link.

I think you have to earn $20 before a cheque/check is issued. Hope they can hold payments as a £10 - £15 charge makes the whole process worthless (unless you're making thousands/month).

Yes, you can hold payments. You can change it to whatever you like :-) As long as it aboves their min. which I can't remember.

By the way thanks Gaz, I'll have to look into that, instead of receiving checks and then pay the bank to convert that currency :-)

This ^^^^ exactly. There's absolutely no need to visit America and open a bank account there! (I wasn't sure if that comment was serious or joking ... but just in case anyone takes it seriously!).

        1.) Costs nothing

2.) apply at Payoneer.com then register your affiliate networks be it Amazon, CJ, Plimus etc or even all of them.

3.) Wait till you are approved and your US account opened and to receive your physical card.

4.) Wait to receive your Affiliate payments directly to your Payoneer CARD

        5.) Withdraw and PAAAAAAARTY

        Kickin it on Amazon

Thanks for the great feedback, guys

As mentioned, Payoneer offers a US Payment Service that allows you to receive US transfers directly to the Payoneer card from select US corporations. If you're currently a Payoneer card holder, simply contact us and request to apply for the US Payment Service.

If you are not a Payoneer card holder and would like to apply for a card, feel free to PM me for further details.
