Selling wordpress themes

Hi Guys
Is selling wordpress theme here profitable? I have seen some wso's for wordpress themes, do they make cash?

    I never sold a theme here in a WSO but it depends on what you are planning and the quality of the themes you are selling. A build some themes up fro sale on my own during the last years and can tell it's not as easy as you might expect.

    The competition is pretty high if you consider sites like themeforest as well as all the free wordpress themes out there.

    I've never sold a WSO for a theme, but I would bet that they have high perceived value depending on the price point and sell well...hopefully someone who has actually sold one will chime in here for a better answer for you.

    well just look at the market trend. Right now amazon theme really a hot niche. Create a theme that works with autoblog (easy azon, wp robot and etc).
    so if you ask profitable, yes.

      there are some very successful theme sellers right here on this forum.

      If your theme fulfills a need for Internet marketers, you can launch your theme-selling career right here.

      you need to set yourself apart from other theme designers somehow - and still deliver what people want.

      it won't be easy, but I think there's still lots of room to make money with WordPress themes. Think about how many millions of WordPress users there are.

    If you want to earn money from your contents, try to make your theme more simply.

    So, if you wanna sell wp themes, you should point : Easily edit/customize, add/remove advertisement... and optimize the ads network .
