Here's a link to our website: Affordable website design, web development and internet marketing specialists | Minion Interactive

Currently, we're getting an average 10 visitors per day (50% from organic search, the rest are from referrals) - but we've had no signups using the quote form and a single contact via email.

We haven't updated the site in a while, but we're planning to update it today to see if we can convert some of the visitors (We'll start split-testing as well). One of the things we're looking at doing is putting prices up on the front page, and adding a portfolio.
Can anyone suggest anything else that needs to change?

Thanks

I think the site looks very professional overall. Besides the items that you mentioned (portfolio and pricing), I also think that some of the pages are a bit text heavy and it would be nice to have a graphic or two to break things up for the reader.

I agree that pricing, and a portfolio will help you out. Maybe you are turning them off by asking them for a phone number. They might not want to receive a phone call from some stranger. If you make this option optional it might help you increase your leads.

If you're looking to use your sign-up form as a lead generator, you'll need to offer
much more incentive for customers to give you their information.

Come up with a report/white paper that offers some real value for free, and you'll start seeing sign-ups. Then you can market to them long term.

This is true. Buy a Private Label Rights report from this forum, or another website. Make sure its valuable, and you might not even have to make the phone number part optional. Of course, you can always write your own report, but it's much easier just to buy one.

Offer a tutorial on something, or a free newsletter about your niche. Don't give away your main business secrets, but something small, but valuable will almost force them to put their information.

This is my opinion and may not be inline with what you are trying to do. If I were looking for a website and stopped by your site:

        - Way to wordy! I learned more from rolling over the "What We Do" link than was conveyed on the front page.

        - The site comes across as way more about Minion Network, what's so great about Minion Network, why Minion Network is better for you, etc.

        - I'm probably not going to contact you unless you give me a reason.

Just my input. Let us know what you decide and how your changes worked out. We all would learn from your experience.

I think you can benefit from a stronger headline. I think you should let people view samples of your work, and see if you can put the contact form higher on the website.

    Your site looks very professional.

I agree... take the phone number out of the sign up. I don't think people want to be contacted about something they probably aren't going to purchase anyway.

I think right now most people don't have the $500 to spend on a website. I know I don't anyway.

I think for now...you need to target small and large businesses in your area. And maybe some owner-operated business.

Just wondering where you saw the $500? I thought I had pulled all pricing down a while ago.

Thanks for all the suggestions though - I find it a lot harder to look at my own sites objectively (example: Partner: "Get rid of that XYZ".. Me: "I spent almost 2 days on that one piece of content - I'm not removing it!")

We're getting a steady stream of traffic, so I'm hoping results will come through pretty quickly - I'll let you all know how it goes.

      Thanks
