Should I Be Social Bookmarking "Best" Yahoo Answers?

I have recently started an affiliate site in my favourite and most knowlegeable (for me) niche. For traffic i have simply stuck to writing articles, providing helpful/insightful comments on other peoples sites/articles and also have been using Yahoo answers, which in turn provides backlinks to either pages on my site or to my articles.

I usually find 3 or 4 relevant questions at Yahoo Answers on a daily basis and provide helpful (in my mind) answers and then as mentioned above provide a link back to either a relevant article i have written or a page on my site. Over the last week i have now had a splurge of best answers (yeeeeaaa) and have noticed that these are now providing traffic back to my articles and sites.

I am just wondering as we pretty much social bookmark everything we write, should i also be doing this for the Yahoo best answers i have been credited with or will this just be considered spam. I ask because i now notice more and more and more Social Bookmarking sites, no longer accept bookmarking of articles from the top article directories!
