I Am Extremely Gutted At Moment....

I get this email from Alex Jeffreys, talking about the "Warrior Gathering" Event. Its taking place in London 12th-13th May 2012.

The email i got was yesterday, and then again today, mentioning it AGAIN!

The reason i am gutted is, i CAN NOT PHYSICALLY ATTEND AT ALL. I'm not even in the country at that time.

I would of paid $997, instead its even cheaper than that to attend. And i booked my holiday with my family 18 months ago. Extremely Gutted.

Has anyone else have this problem?

I don't get why you're so gutted. It's just one opportunity of many to get together with other IMers.

Martin Avis runs the London Lunch regularly - I've been attending it since it began years ago and I've met hundreds of WF members and other IMers from around the world at it - and it costs the price of the meal.

Your success will not be made or broken by whether you attend one seminar or not.

BTW it's not the first in the UK.

Rob Puddy has run many events in the UK. Peter Twist has run many. I have run many. I've attended around 50 events of other people's in the UK. Some for Warriors, some just masterminding groups, some seminars.

The UK is very active. like I said - I've met hundreds of WF members in person and many are now good friends because of meeting up.

I am just amazed that someone is willing to pay such large sums, when you can learn so much from people on this forum for free!

If not!! then Im also gutted like you! not so much because of the content, but the chance to network is worth the price alone!!

This is the first seminar i have even heard of, taking place in the UK. So i do need to get researching more on seminars that take place in this country. Where are they advertised?

I must of crawled out of under my rock, as i have never heard of those people you have mentioned. I think i better search for them.

Totally agree with you Louie. Networking is the best way possible to get anywhere in any business.

        Aah.

Well you'll be pleased to know - they happen a lot.

There are some big ones that happen in London which are often attended by thousands of people but can be very pitchy, but as you say - good to meet other people even if the seminar sucks

I've actually met some big named IMers at those events too, so even the worst events can have some good people.

Peter Twist was running seminars with Frank Garon in the UK from around 2002/2003 (that was my first one with him). Yanik Silver has run many over the years. Nick James runs some with Peter these days. Mark Anastasi does them quite often in London, Martin's London lunch can be found here: The London Lunch Announcement List - The bi-monthly London Lunch for Internet marketers run by Martin Avis

Frank Kern and Ed Dale have run them here too.

Here's a link to a blog (not sure who's) that lists some events: Internet Marketing | London Seminar

        There are plenty more.

Here are some pictures from some I've been to:

          Thanks for the mention Andy.

The next London Lunch is on Friday May 25th. It will start at 12.30 and after lunch we will network to our heart's content until the evening. There are no presentations and no pitching. It is purely a networking day that has been running now for over 7 years!

          Martin

P.S. Sarah Staar also runs networking evenings in London that are very successful.

Let's see. You're gutted because you will be on vacation when an extremely expensive event is taking place so you can't attend.

If that's as bad as your problems get, I wouldn't sweat it.

    Hey George
I can sympathize with you. I am one of Alex's students and would dearly love to go and see him live on stage. Unfortunately I am in Australia and it would be a long trip to see Alex...even though it would be worth it...!!! I am saving my pennies and I am definitely going to see him at his seminar in Las Vegas later this year. Alex is a class act and my business has moved to another level since i joined his team...

Hopefully they can record it and post it online for a fee. That way, it would be a whole lot cheaper for you.

I've read a lot of Ewen Chia's stuff and find him very good at what he does. I didn't even know about this but would love to attend. I can't either so hopefully they will put something online.

My plan is to lift the ROOF off the building when I speak there ... however if you can not attend I have "insider info" that the recordings will be for sale as a WSO shortly after....but that's never has the same effect as being there live at the seminar.

When I started out I was a SEMINAR JUNKIE ...

anyway ... looking forward to seeing many of you guys there this weekend - enjoy

I was looking forward to seeing all the lads too.... had my browser open to Orbitz and was ready to book the next morning. Got up and was sick as a dog. No flying for me this weekend.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll rock it out.
