Moving WSO's To Clickbank

I was wondering what might be the best resource that shows how to move WSO's over to Clickbank. I would also like to know if some of the warriors who have done this would mind sharing the results. Did you move the WSO's over as is or did you add additional content to them as they usually are listed at a higher price point.

    Hi Ed,

I saw you the link in the CB marketing group... I'm not aware of any 'resource' explaining how to move a product from sales in the WSO marketplace to CB, but I also don't think it's needed.

The distinction that once existed that WSO were to be a special offer 'not available anywhere else' is just ignored these days. Most WSO's are *not* available anywhere else, and so many people now run the gambit hoping that the WSO marketplace will always be - however -

It's good to drop a product here as a WSO as a part of your marketing strategy.

I would then (4 weeks+) also get it up on the web elsewhere via CB and simply offer "something different" which would justify a higher price.... but why do you need to make it a higher price anyway, really? Simply price the product the way it deserves to be priced... and direct traffic, affiliates to it as usual.

Personally I see more sales via my website than I do via WSO's for the exact same product at the exact same price. BUt then, I don't target the WSO marketplace - I'd rather have 20 customers at $67 each then 200 at $7 each, even though the later would make me more money - it's a different kind of customer.

Thanks for the feedback Paul, and I agree with what you are saying. The warrior forum and the warriors who have purchased our products are awesome. I have priced the products at a lower price point than I feel they are worth because that is the way that things are done here, and being fairly new I am just now exploring other places to offer our products. I want to know about moving them to Clickbank or other places because a WSO only has a life of about a week and I would like it to be available all the time. Especially if the product is an evergreen product that would be useful to other people besides internet marketers. I will also set the products up on their own sites and market them as you suggest, so thanks for the advice, I really appreciate your opinion.

I've done it before a couple of years back. All I did was jaz up the sales copy and, bought some graphics and slapped Clickbank "buy now" buttons on it.

    No problem.

    I've been limited 4 times.

3 temporary limitations, and one permanent account freeze.

I got ALL of those limitations lifted, my account is in good standing right now, however I have no interest in doing business with them anymore... at all.

And having seen so many of my fellow product owners go through it as well, well you know...

Funny thing is I'm not one of the guys selling a "how to protect yourself from paypal" guide.

Those products really aggravate me because I've been there, I know how it is, I know how to get out of it, and I know how to prevent it.

Prevention is using a processor that doesn't have their sniper sights on the product vendors in this niche.

Paypal would limit my account and question me, halting my income, because of an 'influx in sales'. It's called advertising.

Clickbank, they commend me for making good sales. Ironic.

Sounds like you could have made a product on "how to protect yourself from paypal" and a follow up product on how to recover from paypal limitations, thanks for the feedback.

I recently added a product to CB after listing it as a WSO. The main difference is in the sales copy - obviously WSO is target specifically to Warriors.

Oh, and of course the price point is much higher.

Remember, these are two completely different animals. Here at the Warrior Forum people don't need much of the normal sales copy, just about what the product can do for them and what you offer.

At ClickBank you have to educate the buyer and remind them of the "pain" in your copy.

If you were to just send your WSO over to ClickBank without making any changes, it would FAIL.

PS. If you want to use ClickBank then create your own sales page on your own website as normal and charge what you would normally charge (Not the WSO price). Then, after you get your product approved go into your ClickBank account and list it as a second product in that same account. This time set the WSO price.

Doing it this way will still be compliant with the WSO rules of it having to be a better deal here.

    *confused*

    Are you asking:

    1. How to stop selling on WSOs and start selling on your own site?
    2. How to use ClickBank on your WSOs?

Again, get approved from ClickBank by setting up a normal sales page at the normal price. Once approved setup the exact same product on a different page at the WSO price. This will give you another link in ClickBank for that product. That is your WSO... It's at a lower price and the link is available within your WSO.

      Hi Mike.

I'll soon be launching a WSO and there is no way I want to use WSO Pro simply because of all the major hassles that are likely to happen with PayPal.

But setting up a WSO with Clickbank has got me a little confused, so I'm hoping you can set me straight.

      Here is the scenario

I currently have a Clickbank account which has my main product already setup on it. And it sells for $50

      Product A - $50

I have then set up a product specifically for my WSO ( Product B. And the WSO price will be $30)

      Product B - $30

I am now wanting to set up a third WSO product which will be a report and it will sell for $5

      Product C - $5

So now I want to set up a WSO selling the $5 special report. (This report is basically a pre-sell to WSO Product B - $30). But it's not a OTO, more of an upgrade.

      My questions are these:

1...Is that correct approach to setting up the WSO in Clickbank?

2... Clickbank only allows the one % commission per account. So if the % commission I set for that account is 50%, then any affiliate coming on board as a result of a WSO, will get a 50% commission on 2 of my products (Product B and C) Is that correct? (50% of $5 - 50% of $30 )

Is there anything I've missed, or gotten wrong?

        Hey Glen,

        That about covers it...

The commission % you set is for that entire account regardless of the number of products you have listed within that one account, you are correct.

Also, don't forget you will now have a link for each of those products at the different price points so make sure you use the correct link in your WSO's.

        Hope that helps...

Oh, one more thing... you will have to setup a separate sales page for each of those products. I would suggest keeping them the same aside from the order button which would lead to your different price points. Then setup your WSO with a direct buy button to ClickBanks order page.

The reason for the separate sales pages for each price point is that ClickBank might have to approve each one as a new product (I think). If not then you don't have to worry about setting up different sales pages.

Your are correct.... Each product you add to an account has to be approved, and so having separate sales pages is a must do
