An important question about duplicate content

Hi everyone,

I have a very important question which I hope you can help me with.

I created a series of short travel eBooks and mini-guides to the cities of Asia, using content which I already published on my website, as well as in other places (my ezine articles and so on...)

I saved those eBooks as PDF files and uploaded them to my own website, so each one of them has a URL of its own that belongs to my domain.

Now... I want to offer opt-in list owners the opportunity to rebrand those eBooks (with their own logo) and offer them to their subscribers or whatever... That means that every time somebody wants me to rebrand and eBook for him, I will need to upload this eBook again to my site...

In other words, I can have these books (which are made from my already published content) uploaded to my website more than a hundred times (only with different logos of different advertisers) and my question is : Can it seriously harm my ranking ? Should I just get a fresh website, specifically to store those rebranded ebooks ?

Looking forward to some good advice,

Many thanks, Roni

Roni, you have some great eBooks there. I think you could sell some on Kindle. I 'd pay to use your ebooks. I was looking for this kind of content for my websites.

Why do you need to upload the rebranded books? Can't you just email them? If you need to upload then you can create a directory and tell google not to index pages in that directory. You can do this with robots.txt file.
Also there is software that can rebrand books right on the web server so you don't have to do it manually and upload each rebraded copy.

No... I want to be in charge of them for two reasons:

      1. I'm the owner of the content and the copyrights (and there are affiliate links of mine within the books) : I'm only granting people the right to use the books as means of promoting their own business.
      2. I keep on updating the eBooks every now and again, so uploading the new version to all the URLs will be much easier than to send them by email every time (although I can basically create an opt-in list for this purpose).
