Any luck with Tattoos?

Has anyone had any luck in the tattoo niche? I have a website promoting a few clickbank tattoo products that gets plenty of traffic, but not a lot of conversions. Actually almost none. Does anyone else do better?

but is your traffic targeted? no point getting traffic if it aint targeted to the tattoo niche.

How are you driving traffic? SEO through keywords? then your site my need changing to reflect on a more enticing the traffic to buy.

If your getting plenty of tattoo targeted traffic then it's not the traffic thats the problo. it's either the products or your own site.

Are they clicking through to your products your promoting?

I get all the traffic through SEO. Around 2,500 hits/month. And yes, somewhere around 25% click the offers. And I've tried just about every tattoo product on clickbank, so I'm just wondering if maybe this niche just isn't profitable.

How about you look for other affiliate programs that offers actual tattoo products?

I am sure there are a few affiliate programs that specialize in the tattoo niche.

I am not in the tattoo market very much anymore, but I had success with tattoo removal products. Not info books on tattoo removal but actual products. For some reason I couldn't seem to sell any of the design ebooks or removal books.

Yeah it might be worth trying to monetize that traffic through some other tattoo products through other affiliate programs. As it looks like clickbank isn't converting your traffic.

There must be some programs out there within the tattoo niche. personally i don't promote those kind of products so i can't comment on it too much. I'm sure someone else will come along and help you, that has experience in promoting tattoo products.

Maybe the wrong types of people are coming to your site.

    It is kind of weird.

Maybe you should check with the program to see if the BUY button is still working. I used to promote a few programs on clickbank and for some reason, CB decided to ban them or something like that and the BUY NOW button did not work.

Chad, I'm not going to cater to you and flatter you and tell you bull****....so pay attention.

TATTOOS....people may visit your website about tattoos, sure, but IN THE END what they are going to do is find a tattoo pattern they like on your site or some other that you refer to and PRINT IT OUT, and then go to a tattoo shop and have them crank up the ink needles.....

    GET IT???!!!!

It's the same as any INFORMATION website.....low or no conversions. Get out of this niche, buddy.

EDIT: GET OUT OF THIS NICHE, but ONLY if you have no true interest or passion for this niche......

IF YOU DO HAVE TRUE, TRUE, TRUE passion for this niche.....

    THEN.....

Get with your local tatto artists....designers......have them ****ers make your own custom patterns, dude....

    Then protect the content....the patterns.....

    SELL THEM!!!

    That's what you do.

(And yes, I AM THE KING of IM....don't you listen to these willy nilly punks who just want to pipe in....you listen to me, Chad, because I'm pure hell buddy, and I don't give a **** what these other people say on this forum...that is why I have been banned TWICE....my foul mouth....my pointing out the BULL**** offers....they hate me here, Chad....but you know what? I'm about to build an authority site for NEWBIES to IM....and I am going to rock the IM world, my friend....so do listen to what I advise....I know what I am talking about.)

"Steady, watch me navigate..aha ha ha haaaaaa!"...Gorillaz song, "Feel Good"

They hate me here, Chad...not because I am foul mouthed, which I am (I dooooo get very, very pissed off), but because I stand up for the retired people...for the elderly who are clueless and just trying to supplement their pensions.....that's WHY they REALLY, REALLY HATE me here on this forum. The old....the people struggling...that is who the predators prey on....yes....and I will continue to FIGHT....just like I do on Digital Point......

I think the NICHE is little bit complicated to dominate , it have plenty of audience also flowing A SHIP LOAD of cash through it.Though we all know TATTOO is a passion or a hobby , as a niche marketer it hard to convert the passion niche into sales either you need to be a blogger with regular content. So THIS is most newbies MAKES when it comes to NICHE SELECTION . Here is my YOUNG-MIND 3 suggestions .

    1. When you choose a niche always try to choose a problematic niche , eg. Instead of choosing TATTOO niche try to choose TATTOO REMOVAL NICHE , because the visitors NEED TO SOLVE A PROBLEM and they should always try to find out a SOLUTION.

    2. If your chosen problematic niche have low traffic , i advice you to choose problematic niche which have atleast 5,000 searches/Month , this will help you to get DECENT AUDIENCE.

    3. When choosing niche don't forgot to RESEARCH the niche's AUDIENCE DEMOGRAPHY so it will help you to create content for the RIGHT AUDIENCE.

    STOP THINKING , TAKE ACTION!

    Thanks

Yep, that niche isn't what's going to make you rich
Low conversion, and abysmal CPC if you choose to go for Adsense (with clicks going as low as $0.02!). If I were you, I would put it on the side and just keep adding one article once in a while as I would build another niche site.
Btw, according to my testing, I find that TattooMeNow is what sells best from Clickbank...

I tried to monetize the tattoo niche a few years ago using CB products and
got the same results... lots of traffic but extremely low conversions.

At first glance it appears to be an ideal niche... passionate buyers + a ton of
      super targeted keywords.

The bottom line is the CB products just don't seem to convert. Maybe there's
a better way to monetize this niche by collecting the emails and offering them
      something more unique.

      To your success,
      Matt

The tattoo niche is the first niche I made any money in. It got me started, but truth be told, it is full of tire-kickers. I consider it somewhat evergreen but again, tons of folks wanting freebies.

I agree, "tire kickers" is a good term for it. I tried it also and found no conversions. Some Adsense click, but not much. One thing that people are always looking for are Chinese or Japanese kanji. Most tattoo shops have a limited selection. You might try a focus on that if you haven't.
Also, listing tattoo equipment from amazon. Artist will often look to the web for it and design ideas. You may not sell the design, since they are probably artist and will just copy, but you could sell ink, machines, needles... You could also try selling ad space to local shops. Start targeting your geographic keywords.
      Best of luck
