Clickbank hoplink question

Hi guys,

Simple question. How can I modify a hoplink so that it points towards the page of my choice? There's this product I really want to promote, but the hoplink is pointing to their blog, and I want it to point directly to the main product page. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Not all clickbank vendors allow this.

The best thing to do would be to contact the vendor - if they haven't got it they might set it up for you.

check out the "affiliates" page of their website, where they have all the tools for affiliates, including banners. you might be able to find something there.

    if not, contact the vendor.

Is it a brand new product? It sounds as they've made a mistake setting it up, doesn't it? I wouldn't imagine they'll have any serious affiliates interested if it's a leaky sales page, one way or another?

You certainly need to discuss it with the vendor, and maybe with ClickBank too? Be aware that if you do link to a different page from the one to which the hoplink naturally resolves (including even the order page), you won't be setting your affiliate cookie on your prospective customers' computers.

Yes, it is a new product actually. I've already contacted the seller and I'm waiting for their answer. I thought there was some way of embedding your affiliate cookie somehow, but I guess I'll have to wait.

Sounded that way ... good luck getting it sorted out, anyway.

Not within ClickBank's terms of service, as far as I'm aware. I believe that this is one of the things they enforce particularly strictly, and that it's a permanent ban, even for a first offense, if you do that in a way they don't like. Great caution advised!

Yes this can be done but you have to contact the Clickbank Vendor and have them set up something specific for you.
