The site is online almost 2.5 months, but I’m not satisfied with the traffic I get. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I’m open also to paid services, if something reasonable will come up. The site does not have any business model yet, so compensation must be modest.
Thank you.

Create a video, put it on youtube.

Social bookmarks, digg, stumbleupon, reddit - all the big guys bring traffic.

A facebook page will bring targetted traffic.

    Guest post on other websites.

      Thanks Jammy.
I'm going to wait with youtube and facebook. I want to try your advice about digg, stumbleupon and reddit. I'll probably hire somebody to do this for me. The question is, how to evaluate the results of bookmarking?

You need more of a description of what the site does and what it's capable of. On first glance I have no idea what you are trying to accomplish.

You need to fix your link in your post....theres a 0 instead of an o in top.

Thanks Kevin, I thought it was fixed after the preview

      Now about the essence.
How long your first glance was lasted? Did you read a few paragraphs on the page? And if you read, did you understand?
If the answer of all of the above questions is YES, tell me please what kind of additional information do you need?

You need to capture the visitor's attention quicker than it takes to read the three paragraphs. Many studies have stated that you have mere seconds to win over a visitor.

Also, i'm not sure ranking a company's success based solely on their Alexa rank is a good practice. For instance, in the Domain Registration category you have J2C ranked over GoDaddy because J2C has a better Alexa rank. However, I don't even believe that J2C registers domains or that they're more successful than GoDaddy.

I agree and I don’t agree at the same time. According to this theory you have to design something looking like a children’s book. But I think this approach is suitable for only limited number of websites. Let’s take a look at the most successful websites, are the majority of them understandable or attractive on first glance?

You are right, the Alexa Rank or Traffic Rank is not the only indicator of companies’ success. But it is quantified, it is available and it is useful. It never was my intention to categorize websites by all of their other features, if that was even possible. Instead I’m giving you the list of Web Hosting & Domain Registration companies who are in the first 1000 group. Having the list you can do the further research by yourself.

Alexa rank is not a very good indicator at all. How many people actually have the Alexa toolbar installed on their browsers anymore? If I was interested in doing business with a site or even purchasing a site, Alexa rank is not of much importance.

            Take care,

Let's set aside Alexa Rank for a moment. Is web TRAFFIC has any importance to you? If NO, good luck to you in your Internet Marketing journey. But if YES, how you measure it? There are a few traffic indicators available. But only the Alexa Rank is the most recognizable and worldwide accepted traffic indicator. Don't let some new guy with 10 visitors a day traffic fool you with cute design and smooth navigation. In the web if you don't have traffic you have nothing, unless you create a personal blog with sentimental value for you.

Google Analytics is perfect to show the traffic of YOUR websites. But what will you do if you need to see the traffic of others, including the websites of your competition?

I'm not really sure why I would need to see traffic numbers for my competition. I am more interested in their keywords, rankings, and where they are advertising.

I must admit it was a pretty Unique format to me. I wasn't sure if it was a blog a website or a testimonial page. I must admit I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed bit I wasn't sure what was going on here thus it caused me to lose interest fast.

I hope this honest feedback helps.

To be honest, I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole. The way it looks now you'll never get traffic. The template, layout and content is not a good one.

Here's what you do: Take the main keyword(s) and Google it. Look at all of the sites on the first page and you will see why they are at the top. Take their idea and implement.

    Just being honest.

Thanks for your honesty. I'll be honest with you too.

The site was intentionally made simplistic, it is not a template, everything is original. I haven't used a single graphical element for a reason to not attract shallow people.

one of the best ways to get lots of free traffic is create link bait

ie: content which is super high quality and others will want to link to it

as much as people always say it, it is certainly true, content is king

another great tip isto guest post and submit an awesome article. This can bring you some good traffic and lots of link juice

generally the way i build links now is "if its a hard link to get then its going to be worth it"

because people with good sites (worth guest posting on are not going to let you submit content to there site if its garbage and not high quality

Hey there! I have been in internet marketing for two years now. You could use slideshare.net and scribd.com. They could help in increasing your traffic more. Video marketing is classic but is still effective. Submit it on video marketing sites not only on youtube. You could use dailymotion and metacafe.

Also, fanpage views is a great way to increase your traffic. On facebook, twitter, and google plus!

All in all, just do not spam your links.

      Good luck!

I don't think I'm qualified to write an AWESOME article. But I might try or at least order one. What is the 'guest post'? Are you talking about article directories like ezinearticles.com etc or something else. Can you give me some examples of such sites.

Do some basic social bookmarking, build basic links and after getting all your pages indexed in Google create a video and upload it in YouTube and use Tubemogul to upload it in many other sites. And next, take your site social - Have a Facebook fanpage, tweet, pinterest etc.., sure you can improve your traffic.

to be honest, im confuse with the web of yours

but all i can say When designing your webpage, you must specifically design it to rank high in the Search Engines. This involves much more than just including META tags. Your Keywords, Title, Image Alt text, Text and overall design, all play an important role in determining how your website will rank.

    aaalexan,

The first thing I would say to do is put a signature on your posts. You will receive traffic just from that.

Also, have some articles written that will bring targeted traffic to your site. These articles will also create quality backlinks to your site that will help with organic traffic. Good articles that are submitted to directories and may be syndicated to provide hundreds and maybe thousands of different links back to your site. I have an article writing service and can help you with that. If you would like more info. then PM me.

I understand that you wanted to make your site clean and simple, but you have to catch the peoples eye before they quickly leave. There may be good content but if they are not visually interested it will be unlikely that they will read a single sentence.

    Hope that this helps.

I'll admit I'm slow being from Texas and all, but I have zero clue what the purpose of the website is or why I would want to use the tools(?) that you have linked there. What you have written certainly doesn't make me want to explore any further. Maybe if I got to the website searching for something specific I would understand the intent, but I can't say I'm there just visiting it randomly.

In short, the purpose of the site is to help you with your Internet search and research. When I was designing this site I knew that it is not for everyone but I was expecting a little more understanding.

There is no business model implemented yet, so currently I don't need any specific action from visitors. I just want them to use the site. Eventually I'll go with the advertising model or I'll figure out something else. That's the easy part.

Imagine that you see AdSense ADs on my pages. That's probably will be the business model - getting paid by AdSense. In my experience this way you can earn about a $1 a month per 1 daily visitor. I'll put the ADs when I cross 100 visitors a day.

Well that's what i am saying! Even this is a business model even on a small scale but still it is. In order to get visitors for your web page, you really need to work hard, as traffic doesn't come on its own, you have to use different strategies in order to get traffic for your website. Running social pages and blogs is the best way to get traffic. In short your "1$ plan" will even fail without that!

I recommend try getting some free traffic from social networks like facebook and twitter, once your site starts getting traffic I recommend that you add some adverts such as Google adsense so that you can start making some money.

I would suggest that you should first make a good and entertaining video of your sites services where the focus should be more on viewer engagement. Make it short. Then take the service of a mobile video sharing site and install the sites widget on your site through which your viewers can share the video with their friends and followers. This will help in making your site viral and you will get a lot of traffic. You can also share the video content on social media sites.
