Should I Put My EBook's Facebook Like Button on Sales Page or Blog?

I'm interested in creating a Facebook fan page for my ebook. My motive, is to allow my ebook the opportunity to go viral on it's own, without completely relying on my main blog site to send readers to the ebook's sales page.

(I do have ezine articles and press releases that are solely about the book, so I'm not "completely" relying upon my blog site, FYI)

My ebook's sales page is on a separate site from my main blog, although my main blog site contains a highly visible link/ad that takes readers to my books sales page/site.

I already have a fan page for my main blog, where a "Like" button resides for people to "Like" my blog on Facebook.

From what I've learned about sales pages, I want to limit the amount of things that reside on it that could potentially distract the reader from focusing on the sales content, and of course, buying the product.

With that being considered, here is my question:

Where should I place the Facebook "Like" button for my ebook? On my blog site, or on the sales page for the ebook?

Thanks in advance for your time and insight.
