Hi, I'm a new Warrior. HELP!

Hi,

This is the very first time I have been to a forum and made a post.

I have no knowledge of how to make money.

My computer skills are limited, but I am ready and willing to learn.

Just wanted to say "Hi" and would like some advice. I already read the post called New? - Start Here, but it's still confusing to me.

I want to get to know you all better and contribute where I can.

Thanks,
rederla

The best advice I can give you at this point is to read.

Read this forum for several hours, if not a couple days. Pay special attention to things that say they are recommended for newbies.

HOWEVER, don't get bogged down in reading forever and never doing anything. (Trust me this happens to about half the people here or more)

    Good Luck

    Welcome,

The advice above is good, but here is what I usually do whenever I start something (I mean anything in life):

Instead of figure out myself what works and what doesn't, I learn from people who spend years figuring it out and "steal" their knowledge.

    How can you do that?

    You need to pay someone!

So my job is to find the best teacher for what I want to do.

    All the best,

    Franck.

Hi Rederla! Welcome to the forum. I'm also new here, not as new to IM as you are, but new compared to folks in this forum. My best advise to you is to take your time and read everything you can here on this forum related to the field you want to travel.

    First of all, Welcome!
Here is my advice...read a lot of posts but don't buy anything yet. Read the posts and learn first. Also, try to pick a niche and don't distract yourself with too many things. That's the problem most newbie's have....and actually to tell you the truth...I sometimes still have that problem. Make a list of all your ideas and rank them in priority. And then go down the list.
Pick one thing and stick to it! Other than that, if you need help with anything, feel free to pm me.

Read a lot and and try things.

If your skills are limited, get some basic training on websites (what they are), blogs (blogger great place to start), and stuff like that.

I'm assuming you know how to use an internet browser (Internet explorer or firefox) but if not, then have someone at a local library show you around.

Making money online is really simple but not easy...

FInd people who want something and are willing to pay and then give it to them.

In that sentence, there are lots of things to know...but the basics aren't that difficult.

Stay on the forum, ask questions, contribute, and (since you don't know much) go searching online, find some cool resources that are free, and share the links. This will make people feel good about you and want to help you out. Anyone who shares a truly good item is at least worth talking to and interacting with (it might develop into a coaching).

    Cheers,

    Brad Spencer

    Hi Rederla:

Welcome to the forum. Don't think of your skills as limited. Think of your mind as open. Read as much as you can on the forums at your own pace. Try to get impartial advice as to what may be the best way to start making money. Don't jump into things. Find out if the products will deliver!

Better to take it slow than to run and slip.

    Have a great day!

Yes! There are definitely "new worlds to gain".

Stick around rederla, I'm glad you've taken the first step to earning money online.

I wish I could wave a magic wand and make the money appear in your hands. The reality is that it will take some work, but it can be the most rewarding thing you'll ever do.

      All the best,

    Hi!

I am fairly new here as well-welcome. I have found that making money online can be a tedious process, depending on what you are doing. My best advice to you which works for me - ask lots of questions and read some of the more seasoned Warriors articles, tips and tricks.

    Hi welcome...

Yes, trying to read more about on what is inside this forum. As you are able to learn something try to respond to the posts which you believe you can contribute. You must answer questions that you only know, do not try to answer if you don't have any idea about the topic, it will just spoil your posts.

Like all the other members have told you, read, read and again read some more! Check all the topics of this forum - you can find some really valuable information here for free. Or, if you are lazy, you might check the WSO forum.
    I wish you good luck!

    Ahoy.

    I have two questions:

    1. Is there a thread on WF about What works and what doesn't.
There is too many BS offers from "Gurus" that I am kinda lost by now/ and I think that I'm not alone.

    2. How to start new thread?

    Thx.

Here is a simple but effective list that MAY help you:

    1. Read and study several different methods of online marketing
    2. Define your skillsets and how they may translate to using these methods (can you write a 500 word article? Learn HTML? Do you have specialized knowledge that could be turned into an info product? etc)
    3. Choose a particular area of Internet Marketing to being focusing your efforts
    4. OF the regarded techniques, look at the costs and resources associated with outsourcing getting the work done. Keep in mind budget, starting SLOWLY as your ROI will gradually increase, but factor in losing some money before you hit your successes
    5. Keep reading, studying, and testing until you are truly knowledgeable in the area(s) you chose
    6. If you are having some, albeit minimal success, and really need help to get to the next level, research products and mentors via the forum here. Chances are, you will find some that have incredibly positive and numerous reviews, this will increase your comfort level with additional investment.

Either way, good luck. With time and effort, you will see results. Don't skip steps, follow the paths of others who have had success.

I also strongly suggest that you read as widely as possible.
If you can - join what we call free giveaways - download as much stuff
as you can - and study the material.

For now, refrain from buying stuff - to be quite truthful most
of what is sold is crap. I know that from experience.

If you spend any money - let it be for a coaching
    program.

    All the best!

Oops! I just noticed you said this was your first post to a forum. You couldn't have picked a better one, as the Warrior Forum is helpful to new people that are willing to learn and contribute.

Even though you mentioned you don't know how to make money online, you have taken an excellent first step by introducing yourself on a forum. It may seem like a small thing right now, but I believe it's the beginning of something big!

    By the way...

    Welcome to the fourm!

I too would like to welcome you to the forum.

Michael posted in this thread. If you read his posts you will gain a great deal of information.

As with the advise given by most of the posters read and learn. that is excellent advice. I would recommend you also follow the advice they gave about not buying everything you see. Most new Internet Marketers tend to do this, I know I did.

I am shocked that no one told you the most important thing to do. It doesn't do you any good to read and learn if you don't take action on what you read.

Inaction causes more failures than anything else in Internet Marketing, or any business for that matter.

I have witnessed inaction causing good products get labeled as scams as well. It doesn't matter how good the product is, if you don't put it into action it won't do you any good.

    Good luck on your endeavors.

I think it can be overwhelming at first with all of the information to take in, so I think the Warrior forum is the best place to start. My advice would be soak up all of the free information available related to your niche in the Warrior forum first and then think about purchasing an additional tool to assist you with your pursuit such as a pay-per-click service or article writing program. These tools will help you, but you need some basic knowledge first! Just my 2 cents of info!

    Hi Rederla,
Like you, I am also new to the Warrior Forums. Making money on the net is something that has become harder in the recent times. However there are still many black hat and grey hat ways to make money. I believe that the main focus of most sites should be traffic and seo. So pay close attention to these concepts when you are designing your websites and your life will be easier. I learned the hard way by designing non-seo firendly sites and it's much harder to generate the traffic.

Something great for this forum is to just spend time reading like others have said.

Get a notepad and write down areas you need more information on, tips you find, strategies, and maybe a short-term goal.

Businesses make money by providing some value to customers. So the first thing to start making money is to identify the specific value you can provide.

In the off-line business world (with which I have experience) you identify prospective customers who might need this value. You meet them and LISTEN to them. What exactly do they want? How should I adapt and present my value to get them respond favourably?

In the on-line world (with which I too don't have money-making experience) I am finding the process harder. You have no individual prospect to meet and listen to. Instead, there is one big crowd out there. And the competition is tough.

Hope to learn the tricks-of-on-line-trade from WF experts. One refreshing thing I noted on starting with this forum was that unique value offers catch attention. For example, The ClassicArtShop of Rebtl caught mine.

    Hi Rederia,

Welcome to the forum. Read the threads and ask questions is the best place to start. Learn all you can about marketing before you plunge yourself into debt buying programs, books etc. Concentrate on what it is you want to do and get a plan to make it succeed.

    God bless
