WSO seller went missing

There is this WSO seller who offer a 200% money back guarantee.
There are a few conditions for that 200% money back.
One of his requirement is: "At least 30 days"
I met all of his requirement, still see no result.

So I decided to issue a 200% refund.
Sent him an email 1 week ago. No reply.

His last post on WSO forum was 1 month ago,
that is on his own WSO thread.

Is it wise to open a paypal dispute?

Email him again, post in his WSO thread, send him a PM here.

    Keep trying.

If he gave a 200% guarantee it's on him.

The main overriding rule for this forum is this:

    Rule #1

If you have a problem with another Warrior, a Guru, or God, take it up with them directly. Not here. No exceptions.

Tenzho, contact Paul Myers and provide him with all the necessary info, providing you aren't able to contact the seller - he can probably help you out.

EDIT: If you paid via credit card, you can try doing a chargeback. There is a time frame for this - not sure if it is 45 days after date of purchase. Your company can advise you.

It is better to use the Report button, because Paul cannot always answer your query in a timely basis.

The Report button will get you to the moderator on duty, usually much more quickly.

So true. Paul Myers is a great guy, but he's only one guy. And he's got to sleep SOME time!

Go to the WSO in question.

    Hit the Report button

Take the issue up with the moderators.

The mods will attempt to resolve this for you, and if they are unable, they will likely close the thread and possibly give the vendor a vacation from the forum.

You should post in his WSO if you are unhappy with the product. You didn't say that you are unhappy with the product, so that isn't clear. If there's something very wrong with the product and you feel that he's not honoring his guarantee, you should tell a mod.

Paypal dispute is also an option. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

Its not that his WSO is not good. His product is about SEO, and maybe the recent Google update makes his technique worthless.

I've follow the course and not getting any result.

His number rule of getting 200% refund is:

Your website must be at least 30 days old.

I've sent him an email asking for refund, no reply. Sent another PM to the warriorforum, no reply too. His last post on Warriorforum is 17 april. Maybe he went for a vacation, or maybe he ditch warriorforum completely?
The time period for opening a paypal dispute is 45 days.

His number five rule for getting 200% refund is you must have at least 10 likes/tweets

One of his strategies is buying likes and tweets. So I want to get the 200% refund to cover my cost.

I'll try to send him another email, warrior pm, and facebook message. So, What is the consequences if I open a paypal dispute, if he do not respond to his message?

Since he is not responding to any messages, unless something drastic happened, he may be ditching the WSO. The report button is the first thing you should do. If you don't get your refund, you'll have to go with Paypal, but you will not get 200% with Paypal. My guess is he's not going to respond until you do a Paypal dispute, if even then.

If he does not respond to the PayPal Dispute, he will lose by default in every case.

You will not be able to get the 200% refund, but you will be able to get the purchase price returned.

Be sure that you file that complaint with PayPal before the 45 day window closes, or you will lose that option too.

I don't suggest that you run to PayPal right now... Let the mods try to work it out for you... But if it gets down to day 44, head to PayPal to file the dispute.

You purchase a WSO to find out "one of the strategies is buying likes and tweets". Now you are requesting a 200% refund so you can use that strategy???

Am I missing something here?

          What???

          I'm sorry, as I said...

one of his rule state that my site has to be 30 days old to issue a refund. I went to buy a domain. I went to buy a web host

Another of his rule state that my site has to have 5 unique articles, I wrote 16 articles for my site.

I went and bought likes from the website he suggested

I wasted 30 days trying his technique and I get no result. Isn't it wise to request a refund?

You will not get a refund from a dispute with an information product if he responds and you received the product.

Your best bet is to do a chargeback, or file a dispute and hope he doesn' respond in the allotted time on paypal.

          This is not true.

He can link paypal to the sales page. They will use that in making a final call.

    Hell yes, go to PayPal.

Forget 200%. You might be lucky to get 100%.

If he doesn't respond to a PayPal dispute at

To hell if I know. Actually, for all any of us know you could be full of s***. That's why things like this aren't allowed on the main section. We only get one side of what very well may be a fake story.

Correction: you say you take action. No one has any proof of that. If you think you took action, do what you were told and report the post.

No, I'm saying that there is no proof that you took that action. To expect to be blindly believed is a foolish assumption. Anyways, let's say you did take that action, who is to say that what you did was any good? For example, just because you "wrote 6 (or was is 16? Your story is changing) articles" does not mean that you wrote good articles. Hate to break it to you, but no SEO strategy is going to save you if the action you are taking is half assed and crappy.

Again, who knows what is really going on in the situation? We are only getting one half of one side of the story.

Because the only proof you have offered up thus far is your word. I don't know you well enough to trust it and am not particularly impressed from what your other posts on here show me. Get over it.

Joe is making a solid point here, like it or not.

The reason these things are not usually allowed to be discussed in the open is because the mods can only see YOUR side of the story, and nothing against you personally, but people do lie.

You have so far been advised of the proper course of action. I know this, because I, as well as others, have told you to go to the WSO and hit the Report button and to let the mods put their muscle into getting you your 200% refund.

If you are an action taker, why did you not take the prescribed action, which is your best course of action, when you were advised to do so?

I don't believe Joe is wrong to assume that if you are still in this thread arguing about the details, then you did not do what we told you to do previously -- several hours ago.

And, if you did not take the action we advised for you to take, then how can we rightfully be assured that you likely took the action that the WSO creator asked you to take?

Joe and I are professional writers, so again, we are always dubious of someone who "wrote articles", as to whether those articles were the quality required to impress Google's algorithms. Again, nothing against you, but more a reflection of what we see others do in this forum each and every day.

His terms and condition state 6 articles minimum. I use the 6 articles to imply that serial refunders need to write 6 articles in order to get a refund. I wrote 16 articles a week ago when I issue the refund. currently 19 articles on my website now.

I have already sent all the proof to him.

I Don't want to argue anymore. I was just mad at you for smelling me as a "freebie seeker"

Can I ask if you would be happy with just getting the purchase price or are you insisting on the 200%.
Whether he is happy with just the purchase price is not even the issue.

He invested a MONTH of his time (well, as the story goes at this point ).

The offer offers 200% - so if he met the requirements and saw no return - I wouldn't care if it was a $1 WSO - his guarantee says 200%. If people can't live up to what they are offering or don't think someone won't call them on it then perhaps they shouldn't offer it.

There is nothing wrong with offering no guarantee. There is no rule that says you must offer a guarantee.

Anyway, I've not poked enough into this, nor do I need to. Advice is there on how to best proceed. If you followed the advice given on the product, and didn't get a satisfactory return then it is well within your right to request a refund (as offered at what ever percentage) and post on the thread your experience, and should you not get any attention after truly trying to contact the seller to go ahead and cause a stink.

      JMO

On another note, I've personally reported a couple of WSO's this past month that the seller went MIA and there was no help desk or working social links.

He also started about this same WSO in the main section the day he bought it.

          http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...condition.html

The OP seems inclined to talk about someone - rather than to approach the person directly. Has not posted in the WSO thread about a problem - and is ignoring the answer to this question which is in post #5 above.

          PM the seller
Post in the WSO thread about your problem
Report the WSO to mods so they might help

To file a dispute or chargeback without even posting in the thread is underhanded to me. I don't think he wants his money back - he wants more money back. 30 days is not even up till tomorrow.

The OP seems inclined to talk about someone - rather than to approach the person directly. Has not posted in the WSO thread about a problem - and is ignoring the answer to this question which is in post #5 above.

            PM the seller
Post in the WSO thread about your problem

This thread was opened before the WSO seller change his sales guarantee from "No question asked" to "terms and condition apply".

I opened the thread as a general question to the public, and I was called a backstabber!!

I did approach the seller, I PMed him, I use his support email to mail him, I even message his facebook, I even reported his WSO last night.

            Stop it!!

You guys are suspecting me like some kind of criminals? Isn't it my rights to get refunds since I met all of his "TERMS" ???

            I'm reporting my own post!!!!

For god's sake man, you paid less than $10 for the product. Is it really worth your time to start not just one, but TWO threads about it?

I know the time of those who have already responded is much more valuable than that, so why don't you just hit the "Thanks" button for everyone who posted so far and call it a day.

This isn't even about any "terms and conditions" or your attitude of "it's not fair, I want twice my money back now". The simple fact of the matter is that you will NEVER be successful in any kind of business if you will spend SO MUCH time and effort over less than $10. Move on.

Next time someone is offering a 200% money back guarantee, chances are the offer is bad and they are planning on taking your money and running. I can't imagine anyone thinking anything different. Unless they only bought the offer because they were already planning on refunding to make some quick money.

I'm not saying that's what you did, not at all. I'm just saying, if things seem too good to be true, they probably are.

If nothing else, I hope you get your original money back.

The seller isn't missing - he was on the forum today.

The OP requested a refund in the third week - for a product where it was clear refunds would not be made until 30 days after purchase.

The purchase was on 4/10 - according to OP's previous posts.

completely missed that bit. Just further goes to show that blindly trusting the OP's story isn't exactly prudent...

Please. Read the first term again.

The first term did not state that refund can only be processed 30 days after purchased

The first term state that my site must be 30 days old.

My site is 40 days old now.

I met all of his requirement, still see no result.

So I decided to issue a 200% refund.
Sent him an email 1 week ago. No reply.

His last post on WSO forum was 1 month ago,
that is on his own WSO thread.

Is it wise to open a paypal dispute?
Give it a few more days. I've had WSO sellers who have had life interrupt them (health issues, death in the family, natural disasters, etc.) and I didn't find out about it until after the fact. If you don't hear back from them send them one last e-mail and/or PM stating that you are going to report this to the mods AND that you're going to open a Paypal dispute.

If you still don't hear back from him or her then do the following:

    1. Use the report post icon and report the WSO thread, the mods need to know if someone is not honoring their refund policy. They also need to know if the person is changing their refund policy. Don't just report it, give details, dates, etc. All WSO sellers must respond to their customers within a reasonable period of time and one week is pushing it.

    2. Open a Paypal dispute as that should get the individual's attention.

If at first you don't succeed..... but good luck with getting any response, you may have to put it down to a lesson learnt.
