I'm an American living in Korea. There are tons of orphanages here. I sometimes volunteer at them, but I work 2 jobs and often just don't have as much time to spend there as I'd like to.
So I thought I could contribute in other ways. I thought about a charity that raises money and either buys things for the kids or gives the money directly to the (trusted) orphanages directly.
I understand there are some legal things to work out to be a proper above the board charity, but I'm curious to hear others' experiences.
