Well, in case you didn't already know based on the retarded questions I have been asking the past few weeks...I am new to IM. Shocking right?

Anywhoo, I am very pleased sitting here typing this because I took action.

I have my first internet site up ever! Got 6 months of hosting paid for through Hostgator and installed WP last night. Even loaded up a free downloaded theme! *Gasp* :p I even started signing up for affiliate and CPA networks today, and I will start on my banners and logos tonight.

Hey, I know its really not much, but I am proud of myself for taking the plunge. I am in it to win it!

  • Affiliate marketing is all about marketing and traffic if you not start bringing traffic to the website you are just not doing anything.

  • No question is too stupid. It is OK to ask questions. The more you ask, the more you learn.

    There you go. Good for you. There are too many people who read stuff and buy educational stuff on how to earn money online but never put things into action.

  • traffic traffic traffic. My recommendation before you start generating traffic is to make sure you are selling residual products that continue to pay monthly after the sale.

    • I think you are very right on that one. Unfortunately, the problem for monthly residuals for me resides in my chosen niche.

      That is not to say that there is not a few out there, it is just nothing like you would find in something like the IM niche.

      My only proposed solution to this factor so far to this would be to eventually create a membership area on my site, but I haven't got to that bridge yet.

      ...And as far as traffic is concerned, I am currently limited to SEO and various other "free" tactics. You see, my good old Uncle Sam jacked up my pay pretty good for the past 2 months, so I will have to wait to do paid advertizing until they correct the issue.

  • Start promoting by using social network sites, google adwords , get an email list and start using newsletters and campaigns...
