Do You Think The 4 Hour Work Week Is Possible?

Is there some place where I can read more about how you did this? I already read the book by Tim Ferriss, though I have not been able to make it work for myself. It still seems I working all the time and never quite catching up...

In any case, yes, it's possible BUT you won't get there by working four hours a week...

Definitely its possible, if you doing great hard working and relevant work, you can also go with affiliate marketing or update social media interaction complete simply in 4 hours.

I guess anything is possible. I sure would like to do that, but then again maybe not. I love what I do and enjoy doing it. What would I do with all that extra time?

I think if it's set up properly, yes, but it's not something that can be set up over-night.

No problem if you know how to delegate work to others and keep track of results. 4 Hours is plenty...

It's possible I guess but not probable. After being in this business for as long as I have and all the hours and hard work I have put in I just can't see it.

I met Tim Ferris the author at a seminar. He spends 80 hours per week doing TV shows, seminars, webinars, teleseminars, and sitting in airports promoting the 4 Hour Work Week.

BTW, he came up with the Title 4 hour work week by testing the title in adwords. He tested all hours starting from 1 to 40 and 4 work best.

The other books you could read are "Work The System" by Sam Carpenter and "E-Myth Revisited".

Both spell out more of the 'How' that Tim's book didn't go into detail.

I was doing it for about 13 years til we started our second business and then my involvement grew in a big way. Now it's just not possible, tho I sure wish it was. We have a 3rd biz in the works that is taking a lot of my time and I find myself pulled in many directions right now, but it should calm down soon. It needs to!

It is possible if you have some capable staff. But if your working solo and online without hiring any help then it's a BIG NO.

That's the motivation I need right there. I'm going to write it...as soon as I kept caught up on Article Writing orders. I'm 5 deep right now.

The business structure was simple. As I said, it was a real world business, specifically a retail store. I found the best salespeople that I could and then spent a lot of time training them. I quizzed them, offered monetary bonuses for certain things, made challenges for them, and ABOVE ALL ELSE I kept the job fun so they'd want to do it.

The biggest thing that I taught them, though, was to think like an entrepreneur.

I taught them to hussle. As I was doing this, I was automating my systems. I found a fantastic payroll company, went with Bank of America because of their automation (I would NEVER recommend BoA to anyone now...worst bank in the world!), I managed to find suppliers for my store that were 100% online so I could order from anywhere, and I built my point-of-sale to do what I wanted, the way I wanted.

It took me a couple of years to get it all in place, but then I just took a break for a while and enjoyed not doing anything until it got boring. I wish I had known about IM then because I could've spent my time off building an online income stream and then I'd be a guru today selling WSOs like crazy.

Wrong answer. Listening to me was a good start, but then assuming that working more makes more money was a bad ending.

I still have a day job. By the time I go home this afternoon, I will have put in around 40 hours or so behind this desk. At home, I've put MAYBE 20 hours into my article writing service this week. Maybe.

I'm getting paid DOUBLE from my article writing service versus my "real" job.

Hard work is essential if you spending less much time in your work.

Yea, with the right system in place, and a great outsourcing team.

Your outsourceing team would be the key. We are all taught
to get our business down to steps we can give to our in-
house or over sea's team..

I think for most of us we wouldn't know what to do with the
rest of our day. I think we would be bored out of our minds.
