It seems there are a lot more negative threads dealing with members than there are positive ones as of late.

I figured I would share a positive one.

I met a warrior here and we got to briefly chatting about this and that. That member became a member of a forum I have. As soon as I saw that he registered I sent him a pm saying thanks for stopping over, etc.

I went on his BTR show. We got to chatting about wrestling and how I was a huge fan, especially the classic stuff.

Next thing I know I have a video testimonial for my site from the Living Legend Larry Zbyszko.

This Warrior(with the help of another Warrior)shot this videofor me without asking, and for nothing. NOTHING. It is a killer promo and was unsolicited...and nothing asked for in return.

I have to say that was one of the coolest things anyone has ever done for me, and it was all thanks to some cool people I met right here at the WF. Granted, we are all marketers and are always looking to make money, build relationships for JV"s etc, but we tend to forget about the personal side and those relationships.

So huge thanks go out to VegasVince and Sylvia Rolfe for taking the time to do this! I just wish my gratitude could be better expressed, but for now I guess this post will have to do!!!

That is awesome. Building relationships is one of the most important things we can do. I know a lot of people say the money is in the list. Well many times the real money and opportunity is in the relationship. That is something that we should always remember. Also it would be great if you remember how good this act of kindness made you feel so that you will do the same when you have the opportunity to help someone else. Great post and tags.

Yeah, what happened -- DID Kevin take it?

HEAR YE, HEAR YE. I hereby declare that Kevin will now be called Kvin... and now we have our missing "e" so that we can spell whiskey properly.

It's cool what they did for you, but it's no surprise. We only have to read your forum or your posts here to see that you're a top bloke.

      Hi Keith,

I am glad about your success.

About what you write, it is reality, people take up a pen often unfortunately to write a drawback down.

You and VegasVince and Sylvia Rolfe are the many good counterexamples one, proven by the fact that there are unselfish people yet.

Inspiring story keeping a heart like this warm in this rushing world joy to read.

      Thank you.

Where's my little splorf icon when I need one? Did I actually see what I think I saw in the tags list?

Dang, for a second there I thought I was on an entirely different type of forum!

Oh, to keep this on topic- yes! Warriors ROCK! If I didn't visit this forum regularly and get the support and advice that I do, I would have given up ages ago and just gone back to a day j-o-b. Instead I now make my full time living online and a comfortable one at that.

Well Steve, here's what you're missing: billy beer, ex-wife, gary coleman, lingerie, malt whisky, midgets, riding crops, wrestling

Quite the party, really. Sorry we didn't invite you. Next time!

Thats good to hear my friend! I am always finding Warriors willing to take time to help me with things I need. Definitely one of the best places to find "real" people.

    Also, "midgets"?

Very well said. Its those in the "background" that can make the most difference, and don't seek the "fame" that goes along with it!

I, myself, have been here for quite some time and have found some really great "nuggets" of education as well as inspiration. Here, Keith's and now Gina's forum are where I go at the end of the day....even if it is not a great day because I always end up feeling like I am not alone...personal thanks to everyone!

And of course, I have to listen to VegasVince for a chuckle (understatement of the year)...luv you...props from me!

Thanks for a positive post and giving credit to others. I hope Larry was in full character when giving you the plug. In his time the dry condescending humor was priceless!

Thanks Keith for ruining my reputation!

Truth is, Vegas Vince remains as mean and nasty as I pretend to be....no matter what you'se say. Just because I did one warm and fuzzy act...don't make me a nice guy!

The fact is, I had Sylvia Rolfe visiting me down here in sunny Florida....and I figured I better at least pretend to be "a nice guy."

As for Keith's video promo.....thanks goes out to my client and friend...the former AWA Heavyweight Wrestling Champion of The World...Larry Zbyszko.

In a career that has now spanned "36 glorious years".....the Champ can still give one hell of an interview. Larry's never really had a real job his entire life...which is probably why he remains my hero.

Props also go out to my girl and fellow Warrior Sylvia Rolfe..... for spending a really cool week with me here in Vinnie Land...and filming the shoot on her laptop after my beloved and well used video camera shot snake eyes and died.

I'm sure she enjoyed the weather a hell of a lot more then cold ass Canada.

Truth is.....a good JV Relationship often trumps space and time....and the Warrior Forum has been the nexus for many of them. I'm living proof.

Aww Thanks Keith it was a blast to film and an awesome experience, just little old me with 2 legends LOL.

And yes, Florida weather is MUCH better than cold ass Canada and snow and all that fun.

Not too mention I got to use some really cool little icons etc from my webcam that I don't think I ever would've used otherwise.
